We simply loved the beautifully decorated hotel and the warm welcome we received on our arrival. We felt at home right from the start and fully enjoyed our 5 days in Lacco Ameno. The owners did their utmost to ensure that we had everything we needed and encouraged us to see as much of the island as possible (thank you,...

The hotel is clean and the building was cosy, but it needs new air conditioners and mattresses. The rooms are small and a bit old-fashioned. The air conditioner was old and very noisy and it didn't functioned. The personal were unpleasant.

Just spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week at this small, family-run hotel. The owners have run the place for around 50 years and can give you great tips of places to visit, the best beaches etc. The food was excellent and the cook even made some special vegetarian meals especially for me. The room was really clean and the...

A very nice and friendly boutique hotel surrounded by the garden. Exelent place for those who do not stand the beach resort whirpool. Clean and quite. The beach is only in five minutes walk and there is a swimming-pool with thermal water in the hotel. You'll feel like a guest of honour as the owners make there best to make...

We have recently returned from a great stay at this lovely Hotel in Lacco Ameno. We 'negotiated' a taxi fare from Ischia Porto as it was quite quiet on the Island so between three of us it was approx. Euro 6.50 each. At the Hotel Francesco and his family were very welcoming and we had great fun at mealtimes not...

Such a beautiful old building in a great location, but the owner is nasty and stubborn and frankly ruined our stay. I think the problem was that we booked through a promotion on our credit card, so from the moment we arrived he made a point to tell us we were not paying what the room was worth. But instead...

Albergo Villa Angelica is a small, family-run establishment and it shows. The friendly personal service, facilities, attention to detail, standard of cleaning and food all reflect the care and effort taken. The location is convenient for public transport, shopping, cafes, swimming and passeggiata. We stayed for 7 nights half-board. Francesco takes great pride in the food he serves and it...

We were in the Villa for more than a week this July. To summarize our stay - we were very pleased. The family who owns and runs the place is very warm and friendly, they give you a good feeling of a local home. The other staff were also very polite and efficient in their work. Location of the villa...

A destination that is well worth checking out is the island of Ischia, near Naples. And the hotel to stay at is Villa Angelica, reasonably priced and a real gem, in Lacco Ameno, surrounded by gardens and a short walk to the town center. There is lots to see and do there and buses run regularly to other towns on...

“Our front facing room with a small balcony to sit on was OK for us with a sea view and the road isn't noisy as it is only a side road - garden view rooms appeared to be very shaded and it was hot in early June (28c) so might be better for travellers going in the height of the season.”
