I can't praise this hotel enough!! It has a central location, a family atmosphere, lovely food don't expect any British fare purely Italian which is why you go to Italy isn't it? Friendly staff and I especially want to mention the lovely Ciro who kept our glasses topped up and believe me it was a full time job !! Forio...

This was my second visit to this hotel. It is a real gem. I highly recommend it as a single traveller. Hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they remembered me from last year! Easy walking distance to Forio town, harbour and beach. There is a bus stop just over the road, a pharmacy...

My partner and I stayed at hotel Lord Byron for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! The rooms were lovely and clean and the decor was homely rather than clinical - a few extra plug sockets would have been nice though. The food was delicious and varied and pools were great. What really made this place amazing though was the...

The Lord Byron is set in the heart of the bustling small town of Forio. A 3 star hotel with so many extras. Adults only and with just 40 bedrooms (mix of doubles and singles) it is really surprising the extra facilities it has. I have stayed in many hotels both 4 and 5 star on continental Europe but this...

When we arrived at the hotel we realised that we'd left one of our on flight bags at the port in Ischia, reception told us not to worry made numerous telephone calls to Thomas Cook the ferry company and baggage handlers, within 90 minutes they found us at the pool to say it was back in our room- brilliant service,...

Basic is the key word here: basic rooms, basic food and basic spa treatments. Photos are deceptive, the pool and surroundings are compact (but private). On the other hand, for a basic hotel, wine prices are high. no frills, nothing special although some if the staff are friendly and helpful. Even the boast of free wi fi is misleading: some...

Lovely friendly small hotel situated 10 minutes walk from beautiful beach. Authentic Italian hotel with great service and staff. Rooms comfortable and clean on minus bathroom small but functional. Staff very helpful from cleaners to waiter and reception. Food first class typically Italian geared up for food lovers.nothing English insight which was brilliant. True feel of southern Italy. We stayed at the Hotel Lord Byron for a couple of days as part of a package coach tour. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in. The rooms were clean and comfortable but what sets this hotel apart from all the others was the service. From the hotel manager to the bar manager and the reception staff...
