Michele’s and Luna clearly love their clifftop eyrie. They were exceptionally welcoming and suggested trips/restaurants for us, making us feel at home. Their home is lovely to rest in, view the coast, and read. Michele went out of his way to be a great host – even helped track down my daughter’s lost car keys, arranged to pick them up,...

I was driving from Rome to Revello for what seemed like hours (because I was lost) looking for a restaurant I was advised to visit; my friend said, "you must go there, the food will change your life!" And in fact, it did... It brought me to Michele! I was in quite distress when I met him, because It was...

The apmosphere of the place, the beatifull panorama from the diningroom and the heavenly limonades made us an unforgettable memory in our mind. By some kind of fate we were introduced to Palazzo Verone and more precisely Michele... Looking for a relaxing break for a few days without the hassle and stresses usually associated with the Amalfi coast, we got in touch - it was a great move as we managed to really relax at a safe distance from the crazy roads and...

We, two couples, were lucky enough to find this wonderful place for a 4 day stay. Michele and his wife Bruna could not have been better hosts. They were warm and welcoming and we felt like honoured guests in their beautiful home. The Palazzo hangs off a mountain above Amalfi which gives you wonderful views. This does mean that you...

I stayed for five nights in a large bedroom with bathroom in this B and B, extremely well looked after by the charming host, Michele, who speaks fluent English. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room under a ceiling decorated with faded old frescoes and with tall windows giving stunning views of Amalfi and the harbour far below. Michele will...

The view of the Mediterranean is spectacular from Pontone, which overlooks the town of Amalfi. We enjoyed a comfortable room and warm hospitality from our host, Michele. He is an accomplished musician and will gladly perform casually for you, which is a sweet way to end an afternoon of exploring the Amalfi Coast. Driving on those winding roads is not...

Excellent choice to enjoy Amalfi and the coast. The Palazzo has Great view, perfect scenery, true local color. It is super clean and warmly furnished. Best part is the owner, Mickele, very kind, very helpful, he truly makes you feel at home. Better to have a car to move freely, in any case steps cannot be avoided, but that's part...

From the moment we arrived we were welcome by Michele who owns the B&B. He is a wonderful host and gives brilliant advice to make the most out of your stay to the Amalfi coast. The place only has two bedrooms and a beautiful central room with brilliant views down to Amalfi and up to Ravello. The breakfast was lovely...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Palazzo Verone is a friendly and affordable B&B, suitable for families on their vacation, for a couple or more days in a trekking stay, for a romantic gateway or for your unforgettable honeymoon. As you will notice in our guests'pics, our aim is to let you feel at home, welcomed and treated with kindness and professionality. If you want to travel and love the Amalfi Coast, deeply feeling the atmosphere rich in nature and history, check for our rates or special offers, that is all you need. History The fame of Verone and the miraculous story "Palazzo Verone" is an historical mansion of medieval origin and still preserve evidence of its glorious past, several paintings of the eighteenth century (mentioned in TCI) can be seen on walls and celings. The building in ancient times was owned by Mr. Verone, influential and well known family of Pontone's village. The Verones were in struggling however with another noble family of the place, the D'Afflittos, owners of the ancient basilica of S.Eustace Petite that still can be seen nowadays. An old legend came up to us telling that in1618, Mr.Giovanni Domenico Verone and his wife were rescue somehow from death. This miracle is depicted in the frescoes ovals that still are preserved (they show some thiefs chained up and others souls in Purgatory holding bones in their hands) and it seems that the history is that the family have been saved from the assault of some thiefs thanks to the intercession, prayer request, of the souls in Purgatory. ... more   less
