Simple and common food. Pizza, sausage, some waters. Nothing special. Easy and convenient if you need a quick snack. This small town on Rhine is itself very beautiful, but we guessed that there were not many tourists on that sunny day in July. For a day trip is this place very good.

Great location! Reasonably priced! Food was lovely! Owners were lovely too!! Highly recommend! We arrived in the afternoon and were shown our room which was up two flights of stairs! The owner seemed worried that the room was too small but we thought it was great!! A really lovely experience all around!

We just traveled to Germany, and stayed here for one night. We arrived with no reservation, and were greeted warmly. There was just a triple room remaining, and it was a hike up two long flights of stairs to a basic, and very clean room. It was a little removed from the train tracks, so not much train noise (the...

Arrived at Hotel just after lunch, handed key, told to use back door and never saw anyone again until following day?? Be it management, staff or another guest?? Had been given a room 2 floors up in a very unprofessionally maintained building. No fire drill, alarms / detectors or Fire Escape. If the plumbing is anything to go by electric...

All we wanted was a bed for the night in Bacharach, Germany, at a reasonable price. We had started a marathon train trip from Amsterdam, transfering to a tour boat on the Rhine at Koblenz, ending at Bacharach , resuming by train to Switzerland the next day -- thus the need for lodging for one night. We weren't expecting much,...

We were happy to find a reasonably priced hotel in Bacharach. When we got there we were very impressed by how nice the town was and were pleased to find the hotel right in the middle of it. The parking is a couple of hundred meters up the road but it's not a big town so that's no problem. There...

My family of 5 (mom, dad and 3 teenagers) stayed at the Burg for 3 nights. It's centrally located to many of the places we visited. It was clean and comfortable. The desk staff was very accomodating. She even did our laundry for us (for 8 euro)! Everyone we came in contact with was pleasant. There were several families (which...
