Staying at the Savannah Suites Hotel in Newport News, VA was like paying a visit to paradise. Upon arriving at the hotel it did not take long to check in and take us up to our room. We had a nice, spacious room already filled with all our entertainment and living needs. The rooms were very clean and had a...

We spent one night at this hotel. It apparently is a place for temporary workers. Upon going to our room, our next door neighbor was being questioned by police in the hall. She was taken to jail. There is no ice machine in the hotel. There was an empty ice tray in the freezer of our room fridge but no...

My room was dusty and had roaches. I would have checked out but I was only in town for a short stay. The staff was friendly though.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We stayed for four days in early June. The staff was very kind and helpful. (I have to admit that I was a little leery after reading some recent reviews.)... We were pleasantly surprised! The size of the room was just fine! We always had fresh linen and towels....

My husband and I arrived here after 1 4 1/2 hour drive. The desk clerk was pleasant and the room appeared clean. She told us if we needed anything just let her know. The room appeared clean but the latch on the door was broken from an apparent recent break in.When we arrived back from dinner after dark we found...

I walked in with a coupon and found a clean, quiet, no-frills extended stay hotel with good service. There were families living there, which made me feel quite safe. And it is in an excellent area of town, close to shopping and businesses, and right across the street from the best restaurant in town! The bed was hard, but I...

First the faults. Arriving way past midnight on the night our reservation was to begin I was met with a locked door. The front desk closes at a certain time...even on a Friday night. There was an "emergency number" to call which went to voice mail on first call. 2nd call was the winner when I alerted the night watchmen...

Absolutely the worst hotel stay I have ever had! Upon reading the reviews I can only be happy that at least our room appeared to be clean though we did not actually enter our room until well after midnight and never turned the lights on. But we did get ripped on our $102 charge for the room! What was noticable...
