My second time to Meribel's Les Arolles found the staff still as charming and friendly as the first. The spartan slope side rooms were more than adequate for a vacation that one spends on the slopes or in the dinning or lobby areas. We took the meal plan and enjoyed excellent french cusine and wine. The international guests, German, Austrian,...

We are a family of 4 and stayed here for the 2nd time over Xmas 2014. Unfortunately snow conditions were very bad. The place is well run and staff are very friendly but the place is a little bit tired these days. The pool however makes up for it as does the position, genuine ski in ski out in any...

I have stayed at Hotel Les Arolles on 3-4 occasions over the past 7-8 years. It is ideally situated on the main connecting run between Meribel Village and Meribel-Mottaret. It has a large terrace which is sun facing and gathers a lot of non residents for lunch and post skiing Vin-Chaud or Hot Chocolate. The food is excellent for lunch....

We have just returned from 7 days at Les Arolles in Mottaret-Meribel. Mr & Mrs Lewis were exceptional hosts making sure that everything ran perfectly. The experience could not have been better. The food was excellent, the service superb and the ambience was comfortable and low key. This was our second stay here and we will return next year with...

Everything about this hotel was positive and some things very positive. Serivce: Ex-cep-cional. Details were seen at a daily basis, much appreciated. My regards to Luca, Luciano, and Louis, the charming and sarcastic hotel owner! Location: Great. On the mountain. One can go skiing/snowboarding from the hotel. Restaurant: From a hotelier to another hotelier I feel I have to say...

We have stayed in this hotel for our skiing trips to three valleys in the last two years and hopefully the trend will continue. The hotel has a very relaxed and informal atmosphere. It is very clean and the staff are very helpful and polite. The ski shop inside the hotel is really handy. We don't hire the equipment but...

We have just returned after 5 nights at Arolles hotel. The staff are wonderful! and the hotel is very clean. Unfortunately, that is where it ends. The hotel is dated and in desperate need of a facelift. The food is terrible and the menu is dated AND only printed in French. The common areas are in need of updating and...

My family of three generations just returned from the Three Valleys in the French Alps, and I felt I should send a review, even if increasing awareness makes the hotel less available! Meribel Valley has Val Thorens and Courchevel Valleys on either side, making it easy to ski all three valleys in this enormous complex. We had all levels of...

We've been going back to this same hotel for 30 years now, which tells you something. Great food, great people, spacious rooms and so relaxed. You're right in the middle of the biggest ski area in the World. It's particularly good for people who actually want to ski as opposed to give themselves alcohol poisoning. [Go to meribel central for...

We have recently returned from a week in Les Arolles from 23 - 30 March. The ambience in the hotel is good and is owned/run by an English gentleman. It is a proper ski-in/ski-out hotel and is in an excellent location. The boot/ski hire shop is within the hotel - such a bonus when hiring for a large family. There...
