We spent a long weekend at Le Clos du Buis at the end of October, treating my mother in law to a late season break, to a region she had always wanted to visit. She is also a fan of the Tour de France, and couldn't believe it when she saw the stunning view of Mt Ventoux from her bedroom...

This was our second stay at this hotel. It is located at the bottom of this hillside village and from some rooms there are excellent views of the valley and mountains. Rooms and baths are very clean and quite spacious. Closet space is very small. There is no elevator so it is necessary to haul luggage up and down stairs....

Thank you very much Kamainatraveler for posting a comment about your stay with us. We were surprised to read that you weren't totally satisfied with the service provided, and wished you had told us directly at the very beginning of your stay; maybe were you too shy to express your discomfort; a simple note in the room would have worked...

We recently stayed 4 nights at Le Clos du Buis. We stayed in the Provence room on the ground level. The owners were friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious with a variety of fruits, cheeses, yogurt, pastries, and ham. The area is beautiful and there are many galleries and restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here!

Bonnieux is a perfect base for exploring the Petit Luberon. The lovely historic village has a number of good restaurants, and some interesting shops and art galleries? The Clos du Buis has friendly helpful staff, generous buffet breakfasts, clean tidy efficient rooms, a swimming pool, and an attractive garden area, and free parking onsite. It is very good value for...

We recently enjoyed a four night stay at this delightful place. The hosts are helpful and friendly. The rooms are good sized and comfortable. We had a view of the pool and countryside--just beautiful. The breakfasts were wonderful. Also, a small parking lot is attached, which was a great benefit to us. The location of the property is perfect; lots...

Thank you very much mdp95 for leaving a comment about your stay. Our rooms overlooking the valley and the garden with our heated pool are very much appreciated and people's favourites but all the other rooms have their perks. The 2 ones located on the main floor are more accessible for elderly travellers or guests with knees or hips problems...

Recently visited Bonnieux and was fortunate to stay in Le Clos du Buis. Excellent hotel with an excellent host made our stay most enjoyable. Felt like staying in a friend's house in the Luberon! No problems with reservation, parking not a problem, check in was easy and rooms exceeded our expections as being roomiest on our trip to the South...

Stopped here by chance while cycling through France. I had a super room with a view and better still a fine bath to enjoy. A super quirky house, but in a good way. Parts of it had been a home several hundred years ago. Nice grounds with a lovely pool, bright sun-lit breakfast room with a view. Small charming hotel in an old bakery, the hosts are fantastic, really helpful. Nice room and a fantastic garden with a superb pool. This is a real Luberonliving, would recommend it to everyone. Parking is small but with some help we managed to get our car in there.

Gracious, spacious and comfortable. Steps across the street from top rated restaurant L'arome. Breath taking view of Luberon Valley from breakfast room. Private parking adjacent to hotel. Clean and lovely furnishings with classic French open air drapes and Windows. Stairs to second floor without lift, but very helpful staff.
