Detailed Reviews
We found the bedrooms clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. Great value for money, off road parking and short walk to charming small town with shops and good restaurants. Perfect for a long weekend flying into La Rochelle from Stansted Thurs evening to Sunday afternoon. It's possible to self-cater and economise.

After reading the reviews for this motel on Tripadvisor I was surprised how nice the motel was, along with the proprietor. If you have a look at Booking.com there are a lot of good reviews, I saw these before my stay so I was a little less worried about it.
The motel was clean, great decoration and was standard in size. We stayed in a triple room and it was facing the garden with was lovely. There was a summer kitchen which we made use of for making food, very useful.
It was quiet and the only problem we had was that the bathroom door didn't shut/lock properly, but nothing major at all. We didn't have the breakfast, but it looked ok from what the other guests had.
The motel was in a nice area of Ile d'Oleron, maybe a little far from the beach (you'd need a car/bike), but would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet place to stay.

We stayed 1 night in the motel and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel is organized around a very pleasant garden. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is simple, plentiful and efficient! We felt like we were in a guest house rather than an impersonal hotel!! THANKS

Warm welcome from the owners.
They highlight the treasures of their island with their explanations.
The rooms are large enough, clean.
Perfect bedding.
It is very nice to have breakfast in the garden. The only shortfall would be some salt at breakfast.
Parking perfect for parking the car.

Small Motel well located, simple but nice and clean, friendly owners, available and who do not hesitate to chat with their customers and offer them places of interest on the Island.
We couldn’t enjoy it because of the weather but the Motel has a cute central garden that is conducive to relaxation.
Hearty breakfast.
Special mention for the PMR room, easily accessible in wheelchair, with bathroom and shower perfectly adapted, which is rare.
We will be back with pleasure:).
