We camped for 9 nights, & loved the Ile de Re, the pool & kids paddling pool, & the fantastic little shop with fresh bread, crossaints, pain aux choc & raisin every morning. The washing up, showers, basins & clothes washing facilities were clean with lots of hot water. I'm not sure if this is typical for campsites in France,...

Having stayed at this campsite for a few days in the summer of 2014 we returned for a week this year. It is a quiet and respectable site with good size pitches and electric hook up for english sockets. The site has a lovely swimming pool that is clean and well kept. It has a sliding roof sysytem so outdoor...

We returned to Ile de Re for a second year kind of unexpectedly. Last year we stayed in Camping Le Puma and had a good week, though poor weather. We cycled past Les Prises a number of times and said if we ever come back, we would stay here because they had a pool for bad weather. So we returned,...

Small family friendly campsite. Great location for cycling and bike hire is available on site. The island has great cycling paths and the nearby salt marshes are a joy to cycle through. There are great beaches nearby and friendly and helpful staff.

As a family with young children, we have camped at this site for the last 3 years and this year will be our 4th! We have been to Ile de Re countless times and think that the location of this campsite is perfect: a very short cycle ride to La Courde, and close enough for easy rides out to Ars...

After reading the great reviews on here we couldn't wait to see this campsite. But we were sorely disappointed. We arrived at 18.00 which was lucky as they were just shutting up and don't know what we would have done if they were shut. After a long journey we set out to find food and went for dinner and a...

Hello, we are very surprised and sorry about all your comments . When you arrive at the campsite you didn't reserved and as you saw we do have only 3 camping pitches free . The office is open every day and effectively during the low season we close the office at 06.00 pm and if the customer arrive after we...

We are staying here now in our motorhome. This is a really good campsite. Around 600m from the beach, but on a cycle path. La Couarde centre is less than 2 miles away by bike. The facilities here are really good, with heated pool and games room. Pitches are good-sized. The site is very clean and well-run. Lots of touring...

Great location, quiet campsite, great for young ones, they were happy whizzing round the campsite in the eves, very clean shower block, toilets, Would go again. Good access to cycle paths, very short ride to the beach - which was lovely! Long drive down but worth it

Stayed here with our camper for 3 nights in July, it's a busy place, well run and quiet. Onsite facilities are clean, the shower & toilet blocks are unisex which was unusual for us. There is a small limited shop onsite also where you can get fresh bread & pastries in the morning. There is a pizza can that comes...

This is an excellent family campsite. We have just returned from our second holiday there. We had the same pitch as last year no.42 which was plenty big enough for our 5 berth tent plus a small pitch n'go tent. The hedges offer privacy and there was ample shade when needed. The showers and toilets were always kept clean, and...
