The owners are absolutely delightful and welcoming, rooms are stylish and spacious and the breakfast couldn't have been better. I wonder if Sharon will share her recipe for the delicious carrot cake!? A wonderful place with perfect hosts.......I can only recommend it and believe that Sharon and Declan should charge a bit more for what they offer!!

We enjoyed a very relaxing and pleasant four night stay at Maison 225 in October 2016 Sharon and Declan couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We had the bedroom which included a lounge and terrace with beaituful views over the gardens towards the mountains. Access to our bedroom via a beautiful spiral staircase was no problem even with my...

We had only a one day/night stay, but it was a terrific 24 hours. Sharon & Declan provided us with a terrific dinner recommendation, and good suggestions for sites to visit during our short stay in the region. We also had a lovely happy hour in the garden space behind the house.

Maison 225 in Pardes was the find of our recent holiday to SE France. Sharon is a wonderful host, full of Irish charm and great advice on the locality. Declan is an enthusiastic side kick with a friendly outlook to life and free beer available in the fridge. The breakfast was french with an Irish twist and we both recommend...

We stayed with Declan and Sharon for a second time in September and it was another great experience. The Maison 225 is a beautiful old French Maison that has been tastefully renovated. The bedrooms are large with lovely views of the Pyrenees. There is a nice pool to relax in after a day's sightseeing or house hunting. The breakfast is...

Our first visit to Prades and what an excellent find Maison 225 was! Secure private parking was a bonus, although you have to be careful when entering down a small narrow lane. Sharon & Declan provided a very warm welcome and a truly excellent & varied breakfast which included home made scones '. Our room had the promised view of...

Our stay at Maison225 in Prades, was like staying with family or best friends. Sharon and Declan are the most hospitable hosts, who provide such comfort, thought (even a fan for the heat and mosquito deterrents) and a truly delicious breakfast with amazing selections of home-made goodies. It is a brilliant location to visit some amazing sights, from Abbaye de...

Recommended by friends to stay here and so pleased we did! Wonderful hosts and excellent facilities. Swimming pool a bonus! The hosts cannot do enough for you and offer lots of free extras throughout your stay. Would certainly return if staying in this beautiful part of the world. Just sad to see Prades so tired and neglected.

We stayed here for a week in July 2015. The hosts could not have been more helpful and their knowledge of the area and suggestions for days trips and restaurants really made our stay. We had a small dog with us and she was welcomed with open arms. The accommodation is beautiful and we found Prades to be a great...

How lucky to find such an attractive place to stay, with such warm & welcoming hosts. Sharon & Declan couldn't do enough to help, it was like meeting family. The rooms are spacious & tastefully decorated, good breakfast (with surprise homemade goodies), there is plenty of space outside to relax or enjoy a dip. Visited twice whilst sorting out our...
