Happily, we chose Hotel La Librairie and Durbuy as our center for touring a few days in Ardenne. Good choice too! A comfortable room and a generous breakfast let us start each day rested and enthusiastic. Other reviewers have filled in important details about this choice place.

Stayed for 2 nights with friends on a motorcycle tour of Europe. Hotel is centrally located in Durbuy with private parking at the rear of the hotel. Staff were very friendly, the rooms were modern, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Reception is located in a shop on the ground floor. We arrived later... What an EXCELLENT hotel, private parking, lovely rooms and brilliant attentive staff who could not do enough for you. The breakfast was fresh and continually replenished. The hotel also had free WiFi. The setting of the hotel is in a lovely small town which has a few hidden surprises.

Location, location, location! Excellent breakfast - fresh (local?) produce and lots of it. The best eggs we have tasted in a while - and we also had fresh strawberries with our breakfast! Our room - whilst on the front overlooking the street was quiet - but a room on the rear should be even quieter. Free private on-site parking. Free... More

Great little hotel right in the centre of Durbuy with private car park (a great bonus in this little town). Entrance is from the high street through the paper shop (hence the name of the hotel). I was travelling with my dog and was very well received. Access to the river bank and walks is down some stairs at the... More

Very convenient, near the river, near the centre of Durbuy. Access on arrival is from the main street, go in through the shop. Excellent breakfast. Try the walk along the river and visit the Parfumerie de Paris, in a small cobbled street in the centre of this very small town. In that Parfumerie, they sell brilliant umbrellas!

We arrived quite late in the evening and reception was closed (it's a very small hotel with limited facilities) but a quick phone call and our host arrived in a few minutes and set us up in our rooms which were spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is right in the heart of the beautiful town of Durbuy and although... More

This B&B is located in the centre of Durbuy (the smallest city in the world). The rooms are above a shop (where also the reception is located). Parking is free behind the place. Be aware of many stairs so do not bring too much luggage. Rooms are functional. We enjoyed a room at the second floor at the back side... More

The ground floor is a small local shop and this is where the reception is, concurrent with the cashier of the shop. So you may start with a bit bizarre check in experience with this accommodation. You will be led by the owner or his family to your room upstairs. We had 2 rooms, one facing with the street and... More

It was a good hotel. We felt very welcomed when we entered! It is not your traditional hotel. It really reminds me of the mom and pop shops in America but with a European flair. Their shop was connected to the hotel and so if you had any problems, the owners were always there to assist in any matter. Breakfast... More
