My kids and I had the perfect Easter ski vacation in Haus Hirt. In mid April there was still good snow to be found in Sportgastein. Every morning the house driver Rascho would drive is to the mountains (15 min) and pick us up again at about 1pm, when the snow got to soft to ski. We then had a...

Thoroughly informal, great design, attention to every detail, good food and empowered staff. Every attempt is made to make guests feel at home. Even the yoga teacher in our week was excellent. Superb.

Stayed here when skiing for a few days in January, and glad we did. This is the most lovely Hotel. All the staff, from check-in, to the restaurant, to the spa were wonderful and helpful. The restaurant was simply perfect, set menu which changes daily, and the meals was awesome. Rooms are all overlooking the Gastein Valley. and for a...

Extremely friendly staff. Quiet location away from the village centre. Step out of the door and go left for immediate hiking or right towards the centre. Great breakfast in particular if you're into organic food and if you need to make sandwiches for your day out you can fix your lunch package during breakfast hours - everything is provided. If...

The hotel staff is outstanding friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is close to a family enviroment and the food is choise. You will get tasty (partly) organic and local food. Daily you can choose a guided tour, enjoy SPA or organize your own pleasure by support from staff. My review points was 4 not 5 because the state of maintenance...

We spent a week at Haus Hirt. Let me start with the positives: the hotel is in a great location, a comfortable 5 min walk from the Bad Gastein city centre and very close to a nearby forest. If you book a panorama room, you will enjoy stunning views of the valley and mountains. In terms of activities, Bad Gastein...
