The location of the hotel is a couple of streets down from the ski lifts. The hotel has a good storage for skis and ski boot dryers. This means that every morning starts with a heavy ski carrying exercise. Not bad but not optimal. Our 5th floor room was for 4 guests. The room was facing away from the street....

I shared a double-bed room with my girlfriend in July 2015. The room was small but clean and cosy. There was a balcony with a picturesque view to the valley and mountains behind it. The hotel is well located in the center of the village. However, in order to walk to the railway station and supermarket, climbing a steep footpath...

Dear JuniperBerry74, thank you for your comment on Tripadvisor. It is good to hear, that you enjoyed your Holidays at Ski Lodge Reineke. It is right, that you have to reach the railway Station or Supermarket after climbing a little hill, but than you don´t need a Fitness Center after. For all guests they dont want to reach the railstation...

Centrally located with clean rooms and amenities. Rooms very warm and in spite of turning radiators down had to sleep with windows open and thereby noticing the returning revellers at 3.00 am... Also no tea and coffee facilities in rooms nor in lobby. No common area for guests to socialize - lobby consists of a stairway, bar closed except for...

We (2 adults + 2 teenagers) stayed here for a week in February 2013 and had a large familyroom 6-7 people with a lot of wardrobes, hangers and hooks for all our equipment and skiclothes = Perfect! We had a large master bedroom and then another large room for our sons so there were plenty of space for all of...

We had extremely nice week end of march 2013 in Bad Gastein. Hotel was small and charmy! One of the best things what we had was half boad evening meals. Food quality and service was absolutely great. Breakfast was quite small, but you could find some energy for the day from the buffet! Hotel is also very close of "after...

Very nice hotel, nice and clean rooms, good maid services. Swedish owned and run so forget any Austrian culture. Pretty central and joined usage of playrooms/facilities in the Salzberg Hof. The dining area was a nice size I.e. not to noisy and the food was very good, although there is no kids menu, all the kids in our group didn't...

Stayed in a large suite for 6 persons that was very nicely designed, but had a bad smell from the shower/bathroom. The breakfast was well designed for skiers and the dinners in the evening exceeded our expectations, every night. The location is in the center but you will have a lot of uphill walking to do.

Reineke was fully renovated for 2012 season, and we were there just after the work wasfinished january 2012. I can recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bad Gastein. Rooms are spacious enough for two people, restaurant downstairs serves above average food, and there is a small bad for beer, wine or drinks also. Be aware that the WiFi does not...
