If you're looking for professional event planning service near to what you would expect from a four star hotel or business, look no further. No other hotel or coordinator in Granada was as prompt, as accommodating, or as professional as Samuel Cruz, the Hotel Dario's Events and Wedding Planner (I am an event planner for live television award shows and...

We had a delightful buffet lunch with squash stew, platanos done two ways, a chicken and a beef dish, rice, and cassava. We had a kind of rice pudding for dessert. It really was fun; the servers were all delightful and very helpful.

This hotel was very enjoyable and relaxing. The building is lovely and our room was very spacious. It was in a great location in the heart of Granada - perfect for walking everywhere. Breakfasts were good and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant. Will stay here again next time we come to Granada!

Stayed here on our 2 day visit to Granada. Beautiful public spaces to relax. Our rooms were spacious and well equipped. Quiet as well. A problem with the toilet was corrected immediately. Nice selection of breakfast choices and a great wait staff. The location is perfect for sightseeing, close to the main square and all it offers. Granada has much...

We only had one night in Granada. What a lovely, interesting colonial town. Hotel Dario is located a short walk from the square. It is a very old, elegant hotel, that now has all of the modern conveniences. The street in front of the hotel has been closed to vehicular traffic and tables from a dozen restaurants fill it at...

This is a beautiful old family home converted into a memorable place to stay in Nicaragua. Our room was spacious with a large modern bathroom. We were in the back of the hotel, our door opening onto a courtyard, so it was quiet. We could go right out for a dip in the cool waters of the pool. Service was...

This is a beautiful hotel in a large colonial-style mansion that was built in 1904 for one of the wealthiest families in Granada. The restoration has been expertly executed. The original mahogany staircase is beautiful. You can read and relax on the expansive terraces surrounding the peaceful central courtyard and fountain. The pool is small, but lovely, and located in...

Nicaragua is one of the poorest countries on the planet but Granada is definitely developed to attract foreign tourists. The Hotel Dario is a posh (relatively speaking) hotel with western-style comforts. Entering from street side, one is immediately taken in by the dark wood, the open courtyard with a small pool (available for swimming) and a waterfall. Two stories of...

First time I was in Hotel Dario and no doubt I had a very pleased stay. From my room that has a balcony right in front La Calzada, I realised hoy much Granada has to offer. At the hotel, nice, cleaning and very friendly staff, Miss Frania Bodan, was an excellent hostess, very professional; food was amazing. It is proved that...
