Stayed 2 nights in a double room. Lovely hotel, all amenities: flat screen tv, a/c, fan, wifi, pool and a great breakfast. Room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. Good location one block from main street with restaurants. Wifi worked well in room. Only downfall is the low pressure shower. Pricey but a nice break from the stuffy...

The staff is lovely and helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful. The smell of the wood, the small gem of a pool in the middle of the property, and the delicious included breakfasts are all great as well. My friend and I explored some other hotels and this is the most unique in its boutique style without being a giant...

I can't fully explain how truly wonderful this hotel is.  Property lovely, great location and all the staff are such a joy!  Should come to Granada just so you can enjoy the hotel!!!! Small boutique hotel (15 rooms on 2 floors), with a swimming pool in the 2nd courtyard.  The first courtyard is a lovely Garden in the middle with...

Stayed here for 3 days during Easter, which is the busy time in Nica. The hotel was very quiet and no noise from the street, rooms are nice and clean with great AC, great pool area. The breakfast was fantastic. Good location, the restaurants are just a block away. The staff including the owners are very friendly and very helpful....

A lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the tourist district of Granada. Nothing like a refreshing dip in the pool,a courtyard bar and gracious staff after strolling through Granada's wonderful streets. Very relaxing, be prepared to wake to the sounds of many species of birds and a delicious breakfast. The rooms were on the smaller side but with a...

What e a delight it was to arrive at this lovely little inn after the bus ride from Liberia, Costa Rica to Granada, Nicaragua. This Inn is very well located to the Central Park with lots of good places to eat. We arrived on the later side, hungry and ready for a Tona. The staff were very helpful in getting...

Got to this hotel after having some personal items stolen from our vehicle outside of town. Don't bring anything you can do without. Ramon and Lydia, the owners, assisted us immediately and has a police officer come to the hotel and then Ramon accompanied us to the police station. In spite of their efforts, the crime wasn't solved. As for...

First of all, the owner is an outstanding individual who will go above and beyond to take care of his guests. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and are comfortable. A pool and A/C are key in Nicaragua and this hotel has them both. Breakfast is awesome, try the fruit...

I had a group of 17 people on a 2 week tour of CR and Nicaragua and El Patio del Malinche was hands down their favourite hotel that we stayed in. Lovely colonial building, beautiful open spaces, quaint rooms, great hammocks, tasty macua, and wonderful staff. I'd recommend El Patio del Malinche to anyone coming to Granada.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
More than a place in the world, a house is a place in one's heart. El Patio del Malinche is more than just another hotel, it's a dream come true. Our interest to live in a different culture and to get to know new horizons took us to the ancient town of Granada. The sun-dried bricks of Granada's old walls and the hospitality of its people bewitched us. By restoring an old colonial house we relived a life of peace and serenity created by its inside patios full of history. We hope our guests will be able to revive and share with us the atmosphere of other times. We will be delighted to share our house, where life pours from every corner. ... more   less
