We stayed at the Hotel Colonial from Nov.24 2014 - Dec.8 2014. This Hotel was everything I hoped for. The service was friendly and there wasn't a time in 14 days that I didn't feel well cared for. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The location couldn't have been any better if you want the true feel of being...

We enjoyed 10 nights at the colonial. Huge breakfasts started each day. Comfortable rooms though the beds were a bit too firm for our personal tastes. We had a 3rd floor room, (no elevator) but the climb was good for the a little workout). Close to everything, friendly staff, clean.

This hotel was clean, convenient, and safe. The staff was excellent. Although the rooms were just okay, they were also clean and neat. Some of the rooms in back like ours only had small windows on the interior wall to the courtyard so they are a little dark. This hotel has a real spanish flavor too it. Many similar hotels...

Dear Guest We greatly appreciate you comment of us in Tripadvisor. Hotel Colonial was built to recreate the architecture and tradition style that embodies the city of Granada, which is the oldest city of the Americas. Because of the structure of the building, the design of the rooms had to go hand in hand and a few rooms have smaller...

Besides this being a charming colonial boutique hotel.....besides the close proximity to the plaza......the customer service is top notch. Laura helped us and she could not have been more pleasant. We had an issue (not with the hotel or our room) and she resolved it immediately. Honestly, I would stay here just for Laura (she speaks English perfectly). We had...

The hotel is in the hart of Granada. All restaurants, bars and -ofcourse- beautiful old Colonial houses are on walking distances. The hotel is expensieve comparing averige prices in Nicaragua. But it is very charming with a very helpfull staff. It is in Colonial style and fits into the town.

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel in early November 2014. Very charming place, small, and very well located on a side street just a few steps from the main square. But being off the square made it a little quieter than being directly on it. All the outdoor restaurants, bars etc are on the other side of the square...

I left my keys in my hotel room, and although I had duplicates at home in the United States for most of them, one of the key fobs would have been expensive and difficult to replace. Without delay the hotel team mailed them back to me. I was already happy with the room and the service, but now I'm delighted.

We stayed here for a week while visiting Granada. Absolutely loved it! The hotel opens up to several little courtyards, pools and sitting areas. Our rooms were in the back, away from the street noise. Quiet, clean, great service at the front desk. Ask the reception for restaurant or tour recommendations. They are really helpful! Will definitely be back next...

Good location, clean enough ( though the pool filters need some work) friendly staff, perhaps not the best for booking tours not on their preset list ( we wanted to go to the hotsprings, )first they sent us to another hotel that didn't do tours there, so we arranged a city and isleta tour. Dear Guest Thank you very much for your observations, we will definitely work immediately to improve the condition of the pool filter and Fan in the room, consider these fixed. Regarding the hot springs tour, we indeed don’t offer this tour in our hotel as it is exclusive for Choco Museum and its connections, so our receptionist proceeded to let...
