Going to Casa Cubana was like going to stay with good friends. We were welcomed with opened arms and given the best of everything. Our rooms were beautiful and clean. Air conditioning was a wonderful bonus. The staff were great about my vegan needs and fed us royally. Their driver (Andy) took us on tour around the city, the volcano...

A charming very small hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect for a few nights ( though we only stayed one) to explore this lovely town and surrounding area. Rooms can be a bit noisy ( eg horses going down the road outside) but nothing to worry about and no different from the rest of Granada. Relaxing and everything...

Casa Cubana was the perfect starting place for my trip to Nicaragua! Not knowing anything about the city Ester and Andy were great host and super informative. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and inviting, the pool was amazing and the service was top notch. I would recommend Casa Cubana to any friend that was starting a Nicaragua vacation in...

My husband and I stayed at Casa Cubana for 1 night in January and loved it. It is very easy to find and if you have a car, they have a secure place to park it. We stayed in the Saffron suite, tucked away upstairs all by itself. The common area has a nice pool and is very lush and...

A wonderful little hotel with a very warm welcome. I loved the colonial furnitures and the stone floors. There is even a little pool in the patio. You can reach all points of interest by foot. Esther, the hotel manager, is always very helpful and nice and let you feel home. I will definitely return soon.

Granada is full of beautifully restored homes that now function has guest houses, and Casa Cubano is one them. Comfortable, spacious, and clean, I would have no problem endorsing this in comparison to other possible options. But what made this place and my stay in Granada so memorable was Esther and her staff. Esther is an energetic, positive, helpful, and...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Cubana, mostly thanks to our host, Esther, and her staff. We had the Saffron suite, which is the only room not located on the ground floor. I'd recommend this room, especially if you're sensitive to traffic noise (although during the Christmas season, you'll most likely be bombarded - pun intended! - by the...

Our stay at Casa Cubana could not have been better. The breakfasts were divine and really hearty, our room was expansive and had so much character, the small pool was bliss in the hot afternoons. I've never received such a warm and genuine welcome from a host. Esther was a pleasure to meet and hang out with off and on...

My husband and I stay at Casa Cubana every time we go to Nicaragua, nearly every year since it opened about 5-6 years ago. We're never disappointed. This boutique hotel is beautiful, and there isn't a "bad" room. Our favorite is Saffron, the upstairs room with view 2 balconies and views of the pool below and Mombacho Volcano in the...

My wife, daughter and I spent three lovely days at Casa Cubano. The reviews are spot on; this is a terrific place to stay. Esther, Hazel and Andy were gracious and helpful. Listen to Esther's recommendations about transportation options, tour guides, what to see and where to go. She won't steer you wrong. On top of it all the property...
