This hotel is conveniently located approx. 2 blocks from the main square (Parque Central), just around the corner from Mi Museo & Choco Museo. Their daily breakfast has four choices. I had the "Plato típico" every morning. Our RM had a mini-fridge that came in handy for daily snacks & drinks from local "pulperías"/convenience stores. FYI: The wifi has a... More

We have stayed in Hotel El Almirante for 6 days. After seeing a lot of (horrible) hotels in Granada, we can honestly say that this is a catch. The hotel is hidden in the city center, which makes it easy to walk to restaurants and other spots. It has a beautiful courtyard, a very relaxing swimmingpool and rooms that are... More

I stumbled upon El Almirante when I was looking for places to stay in Granada. To make a long story short, I came upon the El Amirante by accident, and it turned out to be a good thing. My room rate was $40.00 a night, which I not only found to be inexpensive compared to a comparable hotel in the... More

This a really nice and fair price hotel in the center of Granada! The rooms are clean and the service is good! Breakfast in the morning is very filling and comfy with nice coffee and orange juice served with pancakes, rice and bean and eggs. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from downtown Granada and its famous avenue... More

There is no shortage of hotels in Granada, many of which are similar in style and price. My friend and I chose 'El Almirante' for a weekend stay because it was good value and centrally located. The hotel has a pleasant ambiance, staff are friendly, the pool is above average by Nicaraguan standards, the WIFI worked well, rooms were basic... More

This hotel is centrally located in a nice residential block two near the central plaza. It is clean and economical. Unfortunately the hotel hosts bus tours and giant buses block the entire facade of the hotel. One large bus blocks the entire facade and there are often three buses but the problem is their insistence in having the buses noisy... More

The hotel has about 20 rooms. The entire place has been redone. It retains its colonial charm, but everything is in like new condition. Each room is air conditioned, has a mini fridge, and a TV. The beds are excellent and the rooms are spotless. This property is maintained very well. The hotel has a very nice pool, not big... More

A welcoming small hotel with good size rooms - AC, ceiling fan, comfortable double bed, closet, desk and chair. Fresh crisp linen. Clean bathroom with hot water and good shower. The restaurant was open all day for light meals in between lunch and dinner, and drinks. The owner and staff were wonderful - friendly and most helpful. Ruey, Angela and... More

This place was great. We arrived in Granada quite late in the evening, with nowhere to stay, and came across this beauty. It was great value for money, spotless, fantastic facilitates, huge room, beautiful grounds, and fab pool. The location is great, right in the centre, but lovely and quiet, and safe. The staff are on reception all night too,... More

Hotel is well laid out, clean rooms (a pool) and not too far from the centre. However, if there is a problem with your room it will not be fixed. People were complaining of cramped room, some no fridge, no hot water.Staff just shrug their shoulders. Only manager speaks good english and he is on site for limited hours. Breakfast... More
