My wife and I stayed at the Delphin guesthouse during our holiday in Nicaragua and Costa Rica in july 2012. It's a terrific place to be and use as a 'basecamp' to do day tripsin the Granada area. Rooms are big and comfortable. Ours even had a kitchen. Relaxing at the swimming pool or spent the early morning on the...

We spent three days at Dolphin Guest house earlier this year. Carl and Karolina were great hosts. Karolina's family were always there to help with advice and even a lift in to the city. They also helped with calls to local restauants for home delivery. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The pick of the rooms would be number...

I've travelled around the world, and sometimes I find by accident these small pearls where I can fully relax. A few km outside Granada I found The Dolphin Guest House.. I've rented a scooter for only $20 a day and can go visiting lots of nice places round the area. Active volcanos,,canopy rides, boat tours in Lago Nicaragua. Highly recommended...

Carl and Karolina are what make this a great place to stay! As mentioned previously, the hotel/B&B is about mile out of the center of town. However, Carl made himself or his brother in law available to drive us into town. A few times, he made the trip just for us. He picked us up where the bus dropped us...

My husband and I are long-term tourists in Costa Rica and we decided to go to Granada to renew our tourist visas. I found Dolphin Guest House online in the price range we were looking for and sent an email inquiry about reservations. I received very timely and helpful responses from Karolina, one of the hotel owners. My husband and...

This is a pleasant guest house a kilometer or so outside the main town of Granada, near enough to be handy, far enough to avoid the noise etc at night. There is a nice pool and the rooms are clean and airy. The real pleasure of staying here are the owners and staff. Carl is a charming, softly-spoken New Englander...
