Spending a few days here was very peaceful. The rooms were clean and the food was well prepared and presented. It is a bit rustic, but worth the surroundings. They have Thai and Western food available.
Used to be a nice place 15 years ago, when opened. Now it is run by ignorant Thai transsexuals who do not care about the guests AT ALL. The place is full of dogs and dogs are hauling all night long. Staff don't care. There is a run-down café next to the place from where lound music from the 80's is played all day long, with a bass that is shaking the bungalows. Staff don't care. Avoid and let them go bust as soon as possible. They do not deserve to operate.
The simple wooden huts have everything one needs. We had a hut in the second row directly under the palms. The staff is very friendly! Two things to mention: As they have ebbs and flows there’s nearly no beach in the morning but turns around during the day... And... They have lots of little crabs in the sand at the beach which are more afraid of you than the other way around ;) So don’t worry! We had a great time!
Awesome location with many stilted huts directly on the beach. They are the most expensive, but still only 1200 B as of yesterday. One row back they are 700b and most of these have great ocean views between the front row huts. Large communal dining area. Some huts with washrooms, (price quoted) and other without, sharing a communal toilet/shower block.
A range of huts to suit all budgets, family huts available, We had a hut with en-suite shower room, no aircon but had a good fan, the room didn't get too hot, built up on stilts in the tree line at the edge of the beach, large balcony/terrace looking out over the Gulf of Thailand amazing views of the sunset a stones throw from the water, on site restaurant serving food all day, cocktail bar closer to the beach, scooter hire available. Staff friendly and helpfull.
