The Hotel is designed in such a manner that one can enjoy the enchanting panoramic view of the Holy Ganges, surrounded by the lush Green serene hills from each room. It takes just 5 minutes casual walk to reach the banks of Holy Ganges from the Hotel. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioners heaters and have private balconies from where one can enjoy the fabulous view of the river Ganges, the Chandrabhaga river and Rishikesh town. Yoga classes & ayurvedic massage therapies are also available. The Hotel is situated in an atmosphere of serene tranquility & peace which brings inner comforts & body relaxation. We have a multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant open from 7 am till 11 pm. The highlight is the nearly forest a most appropriate surrounding for nature walk. The internationally famous aarti ceremony performed every evening can be witnessed from the roof top of the Hotel.

A holy trip with family combined with festivity on diwali this year to rishikesh became a long lasting memory trip with our stay at The Great Ganga hotel. Being at the center of the town where every tourist attractions are few minutes walk or by local auto riksha was very convenient. We a family of 10 members travel with tempo traveller and managed to get the parking at back side of hotel area. Hotel reception sent an electric auto to transfer guest with luggage. Front entry of hotel has a steep ramp that require some sharp driving if you are visiting with your car. Food and room are matching all the expectations you may have from a good hotel. Thanks to the staff and reception manager for serving us with smile. Every room got a balconey with great view of ganga, janki jhula and ghat on the otger side.…

Room service is immaculate. No hiccups in immediately providing the things in their approach. Although on a bit high altitude, but, the service and promptness makes it up. Breakfast is average. Food items are quite satisfactory. Not 5 star but nice altogether

Very nice service. Rooms conditions were good. AC working properly. Rooms were clean and view was amazing. Staff was polite. Good communication. Most importantly hotel is easy to reach. In middle of every place.

Hotel The Great Ganga.. Visited the property in Sep'23. You get to see pleasant view of the mighty Ganga from their balcony. Deluxe Rooms are mid-sized, appropriate for a couple & kid. Extra beddings are available. Your travel is incomplete w/o good food & HTGG offers your various cuisines to tempt you palate. Food was great & no meal left us disappointed. They offer a shuttle service to move down from the hotel to the main road & back. It's walkable distance from Ram Jhula & Janki Setu. Overall a great stay!

Fantastic location, panoramic view of Ganges from the balcony and hospitality of the hotel staff are the key highlights of this property. Those apart, clean rooms and good breakfast with morning river view are worth mentioning. We 2 families stayed for 3 nights and loved the place. They also recommended us about local transport (vehicle on hire), which turned out to be pretty good. Overall great experience.

The hotel is located at prime location...and there was great view of Ganga river and Janki setu from the room Courteous and helpful staff Yummy food at Machaan restaurant Overall very good experience Rooms are big enough too.... Only steep slope for entrance to parking is a concern which should be resolved Although they are providing shuttle service from reception to main road which is a good initiative. Also terrace can be beautified more by nice flooring and planting Overall, the stay was so good then we ignored the above points
