Check Out was very unpleasant, Front Desk staff was very aggressive, not in the right tone. Lokesh was his name. We overslept for sometime, He called on room number, but unable to connect. After sometime he called on my mobile and used sharp language, I asked him to come in room and check phone him self, if we were lying.. Also, AC was not working, Remote was not available. We took best room available on terrace. If it was my hotel, I would have fired him immediately.
SHAMEFUL ! ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL !! UNPROFESSIONAL!!! RUDE !!!! SPOILED a well planned HOLI FAMILY VACATION of 13 people.Don't even try to say hello to Mr NITIN who is the rudest and the only person available to talk. Long story short in points so that each one of you can read - 1) booked 5 rooms in advance for 17th March to 20th march 2) kept waiting for them to send me breakfast menu so that they can add the amount in my total bill and then I can pay them 3) after constant reminders didn't got any menu 4) Finally, on 9th March they confirmed me your rooms are not booked after my thousands messages.(Mr NITIN who was extremely rude, didn't even try to understand) 5) finally, they have spoiled our vacation as I haven't booked anywhere else and by NOW everything is sold out. DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR ! NO EMPATHY AT ALL FOR CUSTOMERS !! RUDE !!! They are not at all to be trusted.…
Serene view, artistic set up. Basic amenities, clean rooms, friendly staff. Best price & Budget friendly for the beautiful view & place. Clean, hygienic, spacious . Food from Oasis was very tasty - a bit expensive though. Well connected to all places in Tapovan. Loved staying here .
Hill Top Swiss cottage is not just a place but an emotion and a lifetime experience. You visit there once and you can’t wait to visit again - that’s what happened to me. I was drawn back in just a month’s time all the way from Pune. The place is so breezy respecting the presence of nature around. The rooms feel like home, all distinctly designed and comfortable with amenities and breathtaking views. The people there become family because of the engagement that happens in the form of bonfires, parties, yoga, music etc where most of the evenings turn into celebrations. The owner and his staff go out of their way to keep all the guests comfortable and be there for their needs. You meet good people there who turn into being friends for life. The place is so conveniently located with Laxman and Ram Jhula being on close proximities. It’s an ideal and highly recommended place for those looking for an experience rather than just a trip.…
Before I explain about my stay I think I should share my first experience with HillTopSwiss Cottage Management. It was 2018, I was solo travelling to north India(Rishikesh) for the first time. Being a Southie, my Hindi knowledge was very limited at that time. I reached Rishikesh bus-stand at 9pm.It was pitch dark and raining. Finally I found some auto to reach HillTopSwiss cottage but I was not comfortable to travel alone from bus-stand to hotel. I called up Hotel owner Nishant ji and explained him the situation. He asked me to share my whats-app live location so that he can track my status also he assured me that he will come and pick me up if he find some discrepancy. Thankfully that night I reached hotel without any issue. By the time, I reached they made dinner ready for me. Two years later I decided to do solo travelling and the first thing that came into my mind is Rishikesh and Hilltop cottage. It was supposed to be a 2 weeks trip in Aug 2020 for Rishikesh but I ended up staying for more than 3 months. The staff, the rooms, the view, the vibe everything about HillTopSwiss cottage makes you feel that you are at home. Now HillTopSwissCottage has become my home and the people over there have become my family. I hope all of you will find this review useful. Thank you NishantJI and HillTopSwissCottage. PS: You should try their Yoga classes during your stay(I have learnt the purest form of Yoga from ManavJI and Cami).…
On my long road solo trip, my first stay was here. I pre-booked this place online for 2 nights but on arrival changes y budget room to Deluxe because of the views from room balcony. Room Balcony view is just awesome and it will give you homely vibe. Different properties here is under the same owner and all seems perfect for a stay. They even helped me arranging rafting for me and at less price than the actual.
A sanctuary tucked away in the hills.....felt homely & kept well entertained during a ‘surreal’ period. An excellent & caring team led by the host Ishan, Nishant & Lokesh. A nice touch....with lovable resident dogs. Will be back again for sure. Prema
Hill Top is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle. The staff are awesome. The things that important they have hot water/ water pressure/ soap/ comfortable bed/ strong WiFi / TP. The rooms are nice clean and quite spacious. Also they do clean the rooms - just ask. Though not perfect, we didn’t the room we requested and our tv did not work. Overall a great option. Would recommend have a bike since it’s a bit secluded, and not for people who have difficulty walking.
Very old and good place MR lokesh was very helpful. They have yoga facilities. I appreciate all the team members they were amazing. Food was good i will highlly recommend this Cottage I love this place
3.5 stars but gave it 4 because of EXCELLENT manager who was very helpful in making calls for me to get my lost luggage back from an airline. Extremely clean room with very white sheets and towels and a superbly comfortable mattress (best in India). Fridge in room useless because electricity only works when key is in slot on wall (i.e., when you are IN the room). Staff is very attentive. BE AWARE that luxury rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floor, and some other (standard?) class is the 3rd - 5th floors. Rooms 101 and 102 are very noisy from people in the lobby and music from the hotel (good music, but music all day and evening nonetheless). I had a group of French women congregate outside my room in the common area at 11 at night and again at 6:30 am, babbling loud enough to wake the dead. My private balcony on other side of room was lovely, but also loud, with building taking place below. This isn't the hotel's fault, nor are the 4 or more dogs in the adjoining hotel that can bark for an hour on end (and they bark a lot). WIFI was OK. Sometimes it was a decent speed, but then it would be achingly slow for hours. I stayed for 5 days and had come here after reading reviews, intending to relax, read, and get some work done that i brought to India with me, but it wasn't possible here. Might have been better on the 4th or 5th floor, but these rooms were booked my entire stay. For the price (high for Rishikesh) and distance from amenities/yoga centers (10-15 min walk at a minimum), I will stay elsewhere if I return. FYI, they also use what seems to be the adjoining hotel for rooms but despite the rooms being lower quality, they are charged the same price (I was shown one of these rooms as an alternative, and another group that arrived when I was got assigned to a room here. They asked to be changed to the Hilltop building, but there weren't any rooms available). Restaurant in this adjoining hotel is just before you turn to Hilltop, and it is really good.…
