Very nice. Cozy little place situated within walking distance of the Ganga Aarti and adventure sports p Spots. The food was very nice. Especially loved the breakfast. Would love to visit again sometime. Cons: the rooms are a bit on the smaller size but nice and clean.
I went to stay there with my friends. So we took a River Ganges View Room and a bed in the dorm. For the dorm, it was great, modern clean and good beds and lockers. The dorms are super spacious too, which is a rare find. For the River Ganges View room, I will say the rooms are super small compared to the price they charge. However, the bathrooms and balcony are good sized. The room is super clumsy, so beware if you are a large group, or a family with kids. In the bathroom, there is very very low water pressure, I have to literally step out covered in shampoo to call the front desk and inform them. Even then, they couldn't fix my shower. They opened a room on the same floor, for me to go and have shower. But the same issue there too. Super low water pressure, and shower almost dried up couple times. Also, there is no clear and good Ganges view, the images are slightly misrepresented. But overall, the rooms are modern, and clean, which was a great relief. The balcony is huge. As for the hotel overall: Pros: 1. Located near to good cafes, rafting services, and others. Centrally located, on the opposite side of Tapovan area. This is a good area to stay at, lots of activities and walks to do, which is perfect for a young group. 2. Staff is very well mannered, and guide properly. They help you with needs. 3. Breakfast is just awesome. Superb. 4. Rooftop cafe is good and serves shisha. Cons: 1. Far away from the car parking, almost 300 meters. 2. The hotel has 2 floors of stairs, and also an uphill trek of 50 meters, to reach the reception area. So beware, it's not ideal for all. it's not exactly on the main road, but around 50 meters inside, which is painful. 3. Disgusting water pressure in room showers.…
Hotel is well located. Beautiful property with good service and excellent staff. Rooms are good and clean. The roof top restaurant is amazing and you can have the view of the Ganges from there . In the evening you can also have the opportunity to listen to the live music. The food is amazing and the service is really fast. Ayush was on his toes to fulfill all our requirements. He was always there for us. Would recommend this property and will sure come back.
This hotel is very nicely made. It has nice painting throughout the hotel. The rooms are small but cozy. The food here is amazing & the terrace of the hotel has a very nice view. The staff & its service is outstanding. They would always treat us with a smile. There is small slope to climb but that’s manageable
Superb location... 5 minutes walk from Laxman Jhula bridge... Rooms were cozy and clean... Not as spacious.. the staff is very courteous and helpful... Transport is not permitted outside the lane but the staff helped us bring the luggage...the breakfast was not nice with decent options.... Good value for money.. they have a lovely Terrace and host live performances in the evening...
Well PERFECT stay would be an understatement for this amazing place to stay.. Everything is perfect about it! The food, rooms, service! Location is soo good..all the prime cafes and main market are at walking distance!! Stayed here for a couple of days, wish could have stayed more!!
We visited this property for two days in November . Will summarise the pros and cons for travellers easy understanding . Pros Hygiene is excellent Location is hidden but has river views from top floor and terrace Food served here is delicious Acess to heart of city is great Interiors are tastefully done. Staff is courteous Has a elevator although one must be able to climb a few stairs to reach the reception area. Lounge amd reading room a big plus Nice breakfast is served Cons The entry to hotel is through a small street which is a little steep so those who can't climb a small distance should reconsider. Parking For Private Vehicle is a about 150 meters away but that is not a problem as the hotel sends staff to pick up luggage . The room size is a little small but is very clean and well done. I definitely recommend this place for those visiting Rishikesh .…
This property is centrally located ( 5 mins walking from Laxman jhula)and with all the cafes and tourist attractions located nearby. It has a parking facility near the premises. It is designed beautifully more in a cute way. It has a lawn , a huge common room where you can relax, watch tv , chit chat with friends, enjoy the garden view and play chess and carom. Rooms and washrooms are neat and clean. Rooms have a cosy vibe. Beds and quilts are comfortable enough to give you a good sleep. Each room has a balcony ( view depends on what you select while booking). Food they serve is excellent. It is better than the cafes around and dishes are reasonable priced. Rooftop restaurant gives the best experience. Beautifully decorated and equipped with comfortable chairs . It offers a ganga view, sunny afternoons and chilly nights. It is the most mesmerising view which hardly any other restaurant offers. One can spend hours sipping coffee / tea . The chef ( Mr. kishan) here cooks the so well and even gives great suggestions for meal when asked for. He makes sure that people are enjoying the food to the best. I ate a lot here. I tried food from almost every cuisine and the falafel is exceptionally good ( you wont find the fine taste anywhere else in india ). The management is helpful and loyal to their work. They helped me planning activities for the day and helped me in arranging a few things which were required by me ( make sure you pay them for extra work). This place has a homely vibe. Till date this is my most comfortable stay in Rishikesh. Ps: there is no negativity or negative vibe here. Being a spiritual healer, i can assure you that. Will be back here soon!!…
This is indeed the best play to stay in Rishikesh, was here for 8 days. This hotel gives you a homely environment with a pleasant view of river Ganga. Food is very very yum, all thanks to chef Kishan. front desk managers Dipika and Vijay go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. the guitarist in the evening sets your mood and every staff takes care of the cleanliness and neatness to par. even if i visit Rishikesh 100 times, i will opt for Hideway, Thanks for treating us so well !!. See you guys soon..
bad location and bad approach very unsafe in case of any disaster like fire or earthquake as due to very narrow approach rescue is not possible and on the way to hotel from narrow lane experience best worst part of your life
