The reservation process was seamless and smooth like butter. The rooms facing the Ganga ji won our hearts and we are forever indebted to this view. Right from the Sunrise to Sunset, you can sit on the balcony, overlooking Ganga ji and all your worries and problems would vanish. What a view, damn!
Right from the yoga class in the morning to the Breakfast, the people here dont get tired of serving you. Hospitality should be learnt from folks who run this place. Always wearing a smile and I never heard a "No" in my 3 days of stay here. Hot snacks, always fresh delivered to our table. The Hi-Tea is the best I have had which is complimentary for in-house guests and the little detailing of having Chivda, Khaari, Rusks are so cute along with hot Pakoras, Honey Chilli Potatoes or a simple Stir Fry.
I recommend and urge everyone who are planning to come to Rishikesh "& need a place to stay which is close to Ram Jhula and the Shatrughan Ghat, This is it. No thoughts. Just book it! Thankyou Team for being the best host :)

Very peaceful relaxing experience. Everyday nice. The rooms, the stay, the reception, food, the complimentary hatha yoga and meditation by Aparna mam taught me how to start my meditation practise and inculcate in my daily life for me n my daughter, the mesmerising flute music in the morning by Rohit sir - he gave us eye opening music teachings, advices and what music to listen according to the time of the day and it was serenity in my soul. The house keeping services were immediate and security person was very cautious about our safety and comfort. I felt like home and my family. I went with my daughter and everything what we needed was arranged by them effortlessly for me. The Chefs Deepak, Avinash and Vivek were very enthusiastic to cook us south Indian chennai food, also food was provided with love in a quick time without having to wait long like a mother's preparation. It was tasty and also very good and calm on our digestive system. The members Kush, Neeraj and all the members of the restaurant were very kind, always attending us although it was numerous calls, they came with a smiling face, whatever asked for was taken into account with responsibility looked upon in youtube and made for us like Kara kuzhambu, rasam etc. I will go there again since it has become my home kinda. Everyone are always welcoming changing my strees vibe to smiling face, got new friends. Positive vibes was the mantra. I thank Aparna mam and Rohit sir for always kindly incorporating into my mind positivity positivity and positivity only cos they could read my burdened soul.. the meditation was awesome and Aparna mam taught me certain tips to do to relieve anxiety in me n my daughter. I have so much words for Rohit Sirs flute in the mornings. It was magical, peaceful, mesmerising, good emotions bombarding giving a positive feel that our life is changing positively for good and good things are on the way, to embrace our soul change for good. Shika, Ashwini sir, suresh or Manoj (sorry, I really got confused with his name) front reception were very kind for every doubt asked and warm talks and guidance, and reassurance whenever I feared or doubted. I will be going there again. It will continue.

I booked this property with very high hopes n expectations especially after seeing all the positive reviews everywhere ,when we checked in ,the checkin was smooth and we are provided welcome drinks on arrival ,however once we entered the room the washroom was stinking ,and linen and pillow cover had stains on them 1.on request the housekeeping guy came up with room freshener and later on request with drain expert ,this issue was sorted post this and linen was changed ,however the changed linen didn't seemed was ironed it still looked used. 2.we had opted for decoration in the room which was paid the decoration was aptly , aesthetically done ,however during booking we were promised a drink of chef's choice which every one in the hotel forgot somehow , I would expect hotel to take more care atleast when the customer is paying out of his pocket 3.the restaurant is small and we had to wait for our breakfast as the restaurant was completely occupied For a strange reason none of the staff saw us waiting or made us comfortable to sit somewhere and wait ,we can expect this from a 4 start property atleast. 4.the bathroom fixtures are either not strong enough or loose ,the knob to hang clothes was loose and could have dropped on the floor any moment,the drainage in bathroom is very slow and takes time to clear up ,and could be an issue with design itself ,the hand shower and rain shower worked parallely ,the rain shower was not stopping somehow. 5.during checkout we were informed there is 11am checkout in the hotel , however the booking proposal had 12pm mentioned ,even if this was on complimentary or any means it should have been communicated to the guests , the guests should not be expected 2 read everything like a law book word by word n ask for it ,the management seems like more insisting on raising concerns and then fixing it ,i would suggest why even let such issues come up?
Overall the stay though was good along with Main attraction of this hotel being on the banks of Ganges,with this location even an above average servicer would give them the best ratings ever ,there is a lot of scope for improvement.all in all i expected a lot more out of the property ,with just 20rooms in hotel it should be easier to handle and manage a handful of guests .

Let me clarify you concern regarding the checkin and checkout time which was initially narrated to you by the reservation time as well as shared with you in your reservation voucher , as we are almost 90% occupied on daily basis we were not able to entertain late checkouts . Our team has verified that all the service concerns have been timely resolved . Where should I even start? Firstly the rooms were well designed and the aesthetic was perfect.. We enjoyed our sleep, the bathroom was hygienic, lights were well lit. Everything was terrific!!
The restaurant:
It was just so calming to sit in, you could view the Ganges just beside the restaurant and the food was also great! The view was just amazing..
The Yoga sessions!
We did the morning yoga session and an evening meditation session, it was a 10/10, our yoga mentor Ms. Aparna was professional and the sessions were just perfect. We were at peace after the meditation sessions and our bodies were relaxed.

Location: It is on the bank of river Ganges. So location and clear view of Ganga is visible from the room itself. River Rafting End point is also on the same location, so most river rafting vendors are walkable from the hotel. Restaurant is also having clear view of river Ganga. Size: The rooms are perfect for 2 adults. But with 3 adults, it is little difficult to move around in the room. Bathroom does is not designed well, water was clogged at the entrance of bathroom itself. Jet Spray positioned also wrong way. The price is charged by the hotel really does not justify this kind of design. Food: In the CP plan - we used to have breakfast and hi-tea offered. Breakfast will have limited choices and we did not like the food at the hotel.

We have stayed at Yog Niketan around at least 10 times and every time we were extremely satisfied with the amazing Ganga view, thoughtful healthy breakfast and overall cleanliness of the rooms and spaces. Every time we visit, we see some value addition and feel blessed to have a relaxed and rejuvenated stay at Yog Niketan. They have introduced free of cost high tea in the evening in the last two of our visits and the food offered are equally good, special thanks to Chef Umang. All the staff members are very helpful and polite. Yog Niketan offers free of cost Yoga in the morning and Meditation in the evening and we are highly indebted to Aparna Rana ma'am from whom we have learned so many things to keep ourselves healthy through deep breathing, yoga, pranayam and meditation. I have learned abdomen breathing in the proper way from her, along with many asanas and her meditation sessions in the evenings leave us refreshed with positive energy flow. She has taught us many naturopathy tips during our sessions, which helped to solve some of our health problems. We are grateful to Yog Niketan for offering Yoga and Meditation with Aparna ma'am. They also have paid Spa facilities, we tried foot reflexology and Indian head massage on our recent visit in May 2024 and felt rejuvenated. This will always remain our first choice whenever we wish to visit Rishikesh.

The location is most central, enabling you to easily walk across to the other side of the river.. Rafting and boating are available at the doorstep. Ganga is very easily approachable, just a few steps away. Wide windows with a balcony give you a most enticing view of Ganga river and the mountains.The rooms are a bit small but well appointed with a nice balcony. The food is excellent and the staff behaviour exemplary. The head chef is very knowledgeable as are the serving staff. Free parking is available. Wifi is good. We have stayed in a number of pricy hotels in Rishikesh but this turned out to the best experience. It has just 27 rooms so book early.

My 8 nights stay in Yog Niketan was memorable. It is situated at the best location in Rishikesh if someone is visiting for spiritual purposes. Morning walks at Ganga ghats and proximity to main ashrams and evening ganga artis were very special. Very close to Shivananda ashram, a holy place for meditation. It is a small yet complete property with a mini garden, spa, cafe and restaurant.
The only downside is that rooms are basic and furniture / mattresses needs upgrade, especially expected at the current tariff.
The staff is extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We really loved the hospitality provided to us through their warmth.
Special mentions - 1. Rohit and the restaurant team for remembering all food preferences and making us feel at home 2. Front desk team for always smiling and asking about our stay and wellbeing. 3. Housekeeping team for arranging what they could to makeup for the basic room and bathroom facilities. 4. Yoga teacher Aparna, for teaching is relevant things as per our health condition. 5. Flute player Rohit, for making the whole setting more divine with classical music. 6. Amit and the Spa team for the wonderful massages.
I would request the management to maintain the spiritual and clean atmosphere of this place and not let it become like any other holiday place. This place is indeed very special.

The location is superb, just on the bank of the Ganges you can say. Walk out from the gate behind and you are faced with the holiest river, what a view! You look at your left, Ramjhula is there. You look to the right, you get the full view of Janki Setu, the newest hanging bridge of Hrishikesh. Just opposite to the other side of the river are located the famous places of Hrishikesh like Geeta Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan. The whole bank this side is well maintained and cemented so you can take leisurely evening or morning walk and of course, you can dip in the Holi waters whenever you like.
I tried for the upper rooms but those were booked and so I got a room on the ground floor which proved to be better since you can just walk out to the river and also, the restaurant is on the same floor.
Staff behaviour is very nice, helpful. Restaurant staff and services are fine. A very very nice hotel. Hope to stay there again and recommend to all known people.

Well they have a dining room- and meals for lunch and dinner can be ordered as per your requirement- however, they also have a buffet breakfast which is quite substantial. So you can eat at Yog Niketan and I will not call it a restaurant because it is only for hotel guests.
There are more places to choose from in the Rishikesh area.
