Life changing.
I came here to get my 200 hour Yoga Teacher certification and to deepen my underding of Yoga; I got much more than that.
The setting of the Ashram is in a truly beautiful and tranquil mountain side not far from Rishikesh Town. Due to its isolated location you're able to fully immerse yourself in your program whether it's a teacher training or a retreat, with minimal distractions. The atmosphere in this location is palpable.
The cyllabus is concise, well structured and taught by highly experienced, professional and caring teachers, all of whom deliver their lessons in a very attentive way to each and every student while paying attention and offering time to students on an individual basis.
The accommodation is simple, comfortable and offers phenomenal views towards the Himalayas. The food is one of the highlights and plays a key role in both the YTT and the Retreats as it plays a foundational role in underpinning both Yoga and Ayurveda. The kitchen and serving staff are an absolute delight, as is the food that they prepare and serve.
This review could go on and on, I will say this however. This was my first time to India and I had some trepidation, but I knew I wanted to learn about Yoga in it's birthplace, so I came here with minimal expectations and that's what I would emplore anyone coming here to do. This was a pivotal experience in my life and it was carefully facilitated by this special school and their phenomenal teaching staff who collectively have a immense amount of knowledge and wisdom to impart to their students.
Thank you Rishikesh Yogpeeth and all who played their part, thank you.

One of the most transformational experience that I’ve ever had. The location is gorgeous, people are so humble and caring, teachers are giving the high standard of education in Yoga. Teachers who not just do yoga, but truly live Yogic life. All kitchen staff and yoga teachers keep deep ancient knowledge of Yoga and very devoted to keep Yoga traditional. This is what I value the most about this place. The food was absolutely fantastic. The most gorgeous views on the mountains and of course the amount of friends for life that I’ve made in this place. Definitely the experience that worth to try. And my plans to be back again. 🙏🏻🤍 namaste to all teachers and future students of Yogpeeth.

I m from Pune and was thinking for learning some yoga n relax time as well.
I visited Yogpeeth for 7 days yoga retreat for relaxing and learning some basics of Yoga n Ayurveda.
Really enjoyed a lot and learnt basics of yoga.
When i saw the location online i really liked it and booked it. When i reached at the location half an hour teek n saw the actual view, i was really amazed as the location is truly divine n superb.
Yoga teachers Sachinji n Amanji are really good, they have ample experience. Thank you for all ur support. Specially speaking for Sachinji, he is very good in explaining and one of the best communication skills, which is really important for teaching yoga.
Food is really awesome.. simple and tasty..
Support staff is really nice and very supportive. Thank you..
I will definitely suggest for this training / retreat program if anyone is looking for Yoga in Rishikesh.
Patna waterfall is just below the Yogpeeth and is also nice and do visit it.
Some villages above the Yogpeeth are small n beautiful.

RUCHI TIWARI from Rishikesh Yogpeeth is highly unprofessional and rude. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
I was extremely disappointed with her unprofessional and disrespectful behavior.
She clearly lacks the necessary skills and qualities to lead this establishment. I strongly advise potential guests to think twice before booking a stay, as it is evident that the management here is lacking in professionalism and the ability to provide a pleasant guest experience.

Words can’t actually describe the experience I had at abhyaranya. Beautiful place with teachers teaching amazing hath yoga that’ll surely open up your inner and outer self & to top it up wonderful people and staff. Special mention to the manager of the place Mr. Debashish who always went out of his way in terms of helping pro and solving any small grievances. I am definitely going to Rishikesh next time just to stay here but for a longer duration.

My friend and I spent a week in Abharanya in February 21,one of the most enriching experience of my life. The facilities are better than any yoga ashram I have stayed in. Food is delicious. The place is a small piece of heaven on earth. Even more than the place, the people have left a mark on me. The owner Mr Nautiyal leads by example, Prahlad Sir ( his knowledge of yoga is an inspiration), Pranita, CJ, the rest of the staff were all always there to make our time at Abharanya comfortable. I have found a home away from home. Thank you.

The hotel is also a school for learning yoga, gaining knowledge about yoga and the body. This is very strict, it smiles from the staff but it is great for studying and traveling, see you soon for 300 hours.

After some pretty disappointing yoga in South India I was delighted to spend time at this haven where there was genuine, authentic yoga and the teachers were highly qualified. This is a beautiful place to practise and it really enriched my life. Thank you to all of the teachers here.

I had a great experience in the ashram during my 21 days of 200h YTT. Amazing teachers planted in me the truthful seed of yoga. The scenery and the location were stunning. The place is nestled and completely surrounded by nature. I am highly recommending the experience and the place.

Wouldn’t go there again, but the view is amazing!
Positive:
-the view
-the rooms
-the teachers
-the staff
Negative:
The manager is barely reachable and lying a lot about what ever you ask him. He wanted to have more money for the massage than on the website mentioned and depending on the country you are from he would ask for a different amount. Not thinking that people talk with each other 😅 The yoga mats are super super dirty and there is nothing to clean them with, even if you ask 3 times as I did, no one will give you anything even to clean it by yourself. The food is not satvik and it’s everyday the same! If you stay for 3 days for a beginner course, it’s fine, but imagine for 1 week! Basically no nutritions, mainly rice and bread. I was really lacking vitamins and felt it with my low energy level. There are no talks/philosophy exchanges, no Kirtans, no bonfires, no other activities than one session (super light) yoga with meditation (without any explanation to it) in the morning and evening. I have been to many ashrams and retreats and there was yoga presented as a whole concept/philosophy/way of living and not mainly an exercise. As a beginner you don’t even get a routine that you could take with you home. I was very disappointed and happy that I wasn’t a beginner, as it would definitely not have been inspiring to start. And especially if you already practice yoga, it’s not the right place either as it’s super easy and chilled classes. And there was as well a whole school class for 24h there, which is cool for the kids, but very loud if you want to meditate or read a book or just be in silence as it’s suppose to be an ashram, a peaceful place, where you wake up at 5:30am.
To make it short, if you want a little simple hide away with a nice view and some yoga, it’s a good place to stay, otherwise don’t.
