There is no words that can entirely depict the experience we had at Veda5. My partner and I lived here for 2 MONTHS! We discovered this gem of a venue last year and decided to come here to run Yoga Trainings & Yoga Retreats for our Yoga community back home in Australia. We brought over 3 different groups over the two months and everyone had such an incredible experience. The staff easily make Veda5 the best place to visit in Australia. They are so attentive, so caring and will literally do anything to make your stay more comfortable. Special mention to all those that we communicated with on a daily basis like Kaushik, Ritika, Kudip, Govind, Shivam, Seema, Naveen & all the Chefs. You guys have made this last 2 months so incredible for us. The venue itself is stunning. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas, 30 mins out of Rishikesh away from the hustle and bustle. There is an incredible view from everywhere within the retreat. A beautiful swimming pool and a short walk to a nearby river. Walking up to the village, farm and temple is definitely a highlight. The restaurant is amazing. Completely sattvjc food with no onion, no garlic and no meat. Everything they serve is delicious and cooked with so much love and the staff are always willing to accomodate dietary requirements or even just special requests. The drivers are some of the safest we have experienced in India. They are always on time and ensure you get from a to b very safely (especially on challenging roads). The property is meticulously maintained, they have groundskeepers working everyday painting something new, sweeping the driveway or watering the plants. The Ayurvedic treatments are incredible, very reasonably priced. Naveen was very helpful in accomodating my large groups and everyone had such a great experience. The front desk staff were so helpful, always answering my calls and texts whilst I was leading the retreats and would do anything to help me. No matter how ridiculous my request was it was always completed with such kindness and sweetness. Along with the housekeepers who cleaned the rooms so beautifully and brought me whatever I needed. Don’t bother staying anywhere else, this place is the complete package. We plan to come back here every year for the rest of our life. Hari Om Paige & Aaron

We had such a nice and relaxing time here. I came with my mom and we did the ayuverda and yoga package. The food was really delicious, special thanks to the chef Devendra. S Negi for preparing us delicious healthy and a variety of food everyday. The location is quiet and surrounded by mountains. All the facilities are made to support your relaxation and peace here. Especially enjoyed the pool that gets sun all day, the room is also great with big windows looking at the mountains. The ayuverda treatments were all very relaxing and made us feel very good. Highly recommend all the treatments and with the program the doctor will help plan what’s best for you. The yoga is mainly hatha yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ The staff were all extremely friendly, attentive and kind❤️ making us feel very welcome and taken care of! Highly recommend to come here to take some time for yourself!

This is a charming place nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas in Northern India where the Ganga flows fresh and clean. I was there for five weeks for Panchakarma and a thorough rest and detox experience. I got that and more. There was a varied yoga program lead by teachers who are were greatly experienced and knowledgeable - I thought they were extremely patient as they adapted their sessions to meet the varied needs and levels of guests. This suited me very well, even though I have done lots of tough yoga at home, I was able to go slower and be in tune with the individualised Ayurvedic treatments and diet that took up the rest of my relaxing time. I was resigned to have a reclusive holiday as I was travelling on my own. I felt superbly safe and cared for at all times by the exceptional staff all around the centre, and wow (!) were there some interesting people to talk to and share the whole experience with as they came and went and I stayed on my epic visit! The communal dining room and specific fun evenings with music and sometimes dance lends itself to being social as does the Ayurvedic spa/clinic experience. I will be honest and add that there were three disappointments. The site is very hilly, with lots of steep stairs, which is sort of obvious if you look at the picture, but is worthy to note. The trail hiking, or walking is very limited on site. But I adapted with yoga, swimming and also going up and down stairs all day long - I had a room that was quite high up (fantastic!). Lastly, the air was not fresh, as I would expect at a mountain resort, but this is no fault of the owners or managers. Certainly much better that in cities or in dustier areas in India. I arrived in early March and left in early April as the temperature slowly rose. This was a perfect time. It was cool when I arrived and by the time I left, the bushes and trees were in flower and there were lots of birds to entertain me. All in all, a great place.

An excellent retreat to de-stress, detox and relax the mind. The staff are courteous and assisted in every way. The masseurs have provided excellent treatment. Food is strictly vegetarian and designed for weight loss. As the site is on a hillside, expect many stair climes. One of the cleanest & neatest retreats in Rishikesh.

The perfect blend of yoga and Ayuverdic spa treatments. Delicious food. A great place for a solo traveler to meet people in the yoga classes and communal meals to team up for trips into Rishikesh to see the Aarti or go white water rafting down the Ganges. The Veda5 reception team made booking anything easy. The resort itself has beautiful and modern rooms and activity spaces with views of the Himalayan foothills. Only stayed 3 nights but easily could have stayed longer!
