First, the room was on the third floor (no elevators) and they failed to disclose this information. This wasn't a problem for me personally but it would be for couples with small children or persons with health issues (breathing problems, wheelchairs etc). Good: close to natural bridge, free parking Bad: not very clean, restaurants attached to hotel too expensive (...

We were told the King Mountain View room had a bath tub when we booked this hotel. When we arrived Thursday, August 20th it looked great from the outside and in the Lobby. That changed when we got to our room. The door was open for no apparent reason. When we entered we found a leak from the ceiling into...

After being very excited about visiting the area and choosing to stay at the historic hotel, I was very disappointed by the accommodations at the cottage area. I understand that they are renovating, but $244 for two weekend nights is a bit much for such a depressing room. And worse yet (and this sounds pretty sad) when a guest has...

We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights here while visiting the area. Our room was newly renovated and in great condition. We found it to be very clean and met our needs perfectly. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, with lots of options and great service. The staff was very friendly and helpful; there were many activities and nearby attractions...

We stayed at this hotel from 8-19-2015 to 8-13-2015 as part of a Road Scholar program. When we arrived, the lobby was packed with people. Some of them had been waiting for hours for their rooms. That should have been our first clue as to how our stay would go. Two days in a row, our room was not cleaned....

This hotel is a classic in the area, having quite the history around the building. The rooms are very basic, the air conditioners really had trouble keeping up with the heat outdoors and the shower drain had some issues keeping up with the water and I was the only one taking a shower. If it wasn't for the historic charm,...

First time visit to Natural Bridge - beautiful area and very friendly staff. Was initially concerned about mixed reviews, but if you ask to stay in a remodeled room you'll be pleased. We stayed in a standard updated double room in the main hotel which was a quality room with an updated bathroom (most similar to a Hilton -4 stars)....

We stayed end of July and will never stay there again. Yes it is an old hotel but we were told befor we booked that it had been all redone, That was so far from being true , more like an out right lie. The Lobby and dinning room were beautiful the out side was well kept and inviting, Our...

I needed someplace to stay half way between NJ and Atlanta for a road trip with two small children. I found the VA Safari Park and wanting to make it easy, picked this hotel since it was in the same town. Wrong choice! The front lobby was gorgeous. Our room was not. While some of the furniture looked new, the...

It's not a luxury trip. It's a trip to experience the true nature country. Then I am very pleased with this our family trip. We booked a double bed room. I have to say, I could tell it's an old building from the first moment I walked into the room. However, the room is clean and serves our needs (sleeping...
