Love the Valley and especially Bob & Betty at the Widow Kip's! Have been going there since 2000. Each time has been a fantastic experience. Bob & Betty know the area and are an active part of it. They are responsive to all your needs and will assist in meeting them in any way they can. The Inn is homey...

My husband and I decided to get away last minute, meaning we had no time to board our dogs. Fortunately, for us, we found Widow Kip's and they had a cottage available for us and the pups. After reading the negative reviews and actually looking for what the others were complaining about, I was reminded again that jerks and liars...

Widow Kip is awash in southern hospitality. Walk in and smell the freshly baked crumb cake in a home tastefully restored to the 1800's. Sit on the large front porch and drink ice tea on a hot summer evening watching the fireflies. Owners Betty and Bob are like loving grandparents and some of the nicest people you'll meet. The breakfasts...

Staying at the Widow Kip is like visiting your doting grandparents who live in the country. We were trying to escape Memorial Day madness in D.C. and decided on last minute getaway to Shenandoah. Thankfully, they had availability. The five acre field was great, and my dog was so excited to be out in it that she was practically doing...

We had a quick weekend getaway in Shenandoah to visit the caverns, a winery, and just to relax. The inn was in a great location, beautiful inside, cozy, very clean, and run by a very friendly couple. If we visit Shenandoah again, I would love to stay here again. The couple gave us a great recommendation for dinner (Sal's Italian)...

This is our second visit to Widow Kip's and we will definitely go back again. Bob and Betty were extremely gracious and accommodating and I feel like I have made two new friends. Our cottage was delightful and immaculate and the main house and grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was great especially the stuffed French toast. The B and B is...

We stayed at the Widow Kip's B&B on the last leg of our journey cross country and it was like taking a step back in time. The B&B was beautiful and our hosts Betty and Bob were a delight. The estate featured two charming guest cottages as well as an historic manor house which was decorated with Civil War time...

I loved staying in Widow Kips because it felt like home. The innkeepers, Bob and Betty, are the most hospitable and warm hosts I've ever encountered. They are filled with kindness and goodness that you feel with your family. They shared very useful tips to maximize our trip in Shenandoah like where to go and what to do, they made...

This charming historical B&B is located on 7 acres in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. It is picture perfect as you enter the winding drive. Betty and Bob could not have been more pleasant or helpful hosts. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning, and Betty makes this wonderful apple cinnamon syrup to use on her pancakes or...

We decided to be spontaneous and stay at a B&B instead of backpacking in the Shenandoahs. We specifically needed a dog-friendly place, and the 5 acre fenced field sounded amazing (it was!) The house is beautiful, the hosts wonderful, and setting is idyllic. They were able to accommodate our same day request, which was very nice. Breakfast was good, and...
