We stopped at the Craddock Terry hotel on our return trip from the Great Smoky Mountains in September of 2013. I found this place on the internet, thought the theme was unique, and it was just about at the halfway point between where we stayed in NC and our home in NJ. I made a reservation on line months ahead...

I stayed here upon recommendations from the tripadvisor webiste - what a find! Buster Brown and the staff were all welcoming and wonderful. The room was large and fantastic. Very comfortable bed and beautiful furnishings. The presence of the small refrigerator was an added bonus. The Water Stone restaurant had great pizza and good service, even though it was way...

Wonderful and friendly reservations experience. Room small but spotless and comfortable. Bed awesome. Two buildings w/ a walkway between that takes you to next building where we were on 5th floor. Lovely light breakfast placed in shoe box, on door each morning: croissant, brie cheese, butter, fresh squeezed OJ, yogurt, fruit cup. Coffee( Kurig-one cup) in room and by reception desk....

Lynchburg isn't exactly a city to visit, but if you are traveling on the BRP, the Craddock Terry is a must. Seems like the town is trying to be revitalized. As you make your way down the street, you start to think you are in the wrong part of town, then you see this wonderful brick building, and the sign....

This is a charming little hotel with a very friendly staff and lots of positive attributes. First is the large bedrooms and baths. Very nicely furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. The atmosphere adds to the charm of the place as the conversion from its previous uses was very well done. Loved free parking and the location downtown. Last...

A very charming hotel, that is not costly. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the location is a winner. Downtown Lynchburg now has 15 restaurants and a number of things to do and see, just a walk out the door.

My wife and I have stayed here 3 different times and love it! Always a good stay and always great service. We come here for the stay and Lynchburg is the added bonus! Then there is great food in the Craddock and around the Craddock. We will be back!!!

Loved this property! This hotel had charm - large bedroom and glorious bathroom with brick walls. Continental breakfast was a bit disappointing but ok. Loved the location - near a greenway for great walking and also near a wonderful restaurant - RA Bistro (hotel restaurant was closed when we were there so I cannot rate it).

A unique and pleasant oasis in a an otherwise unremarkable city. Rooms are large and comfortable as are the bathrooms. Continental breakfast brought to your room is cute idea but contents are average. The attached restaurant is very good serving one of the best rib eyes I have had in a restaurant. The outside seating area is also quite pleasant.

Thank Alan H
