This was a necessary stay that was extremely overpriced for the level of comfort and amenities given. Reading through some other reviews so I'll add: sockets falling out of the wall, ability to hear conversations in the next room, missing grout in the bathroom...I could go on but I'll stop here. Oh wait, on our second day of our stay...

An awful motel with filthy carpeting, holes in drapes, threadbare blanket, and broken furniture to name a few of the problems. Overcharged. Staff was friendly enough, but couldn't make up for the poor conditions.

This place felt like a 1975 porn location. It smelled like cheap cigarettes and sex. There were crumbs left on the un-vacuumed filthy carpet, and they act like someone was going to steal the towels. By the way, the sheets were dirty. There really was not a breakfast, if you call rotten fruit and stale pastry breakfast, go for it....

Checked in for a two night stay to visit Liberty University. The building is old and not kept up well. My bath tub leaked from the drain onto the bathroom floor and the sink trap also leaked. The included breakfast was marginal with a few small items and some bananas. The lobby picture, I never found that room.

This is an old motel-style place that's not in the best shape ... the bureau was missing a drawer, toilet wasn't bolted securely to the floor, etc. It was clean, though, and conveniently located -- right downtown (very close to the Community Market) and also right off the highway. I thought it was kind of overpriced for what it is,...

Had to book last minute due to a Liberty University visit. It was a mistake that rectified the next morning. The smell was awful, the carpet was so discolored I didn't want to walk on it, the toilet moved when used, & I froze all night because the heat didn't work. The people were polite & the only issue I...

Hotel was a bit obscure from other hotels and we actually drove past it and had to turn around. More signage near the road would be helpful to find you. We drove from Baltimore to Liberty U to watch our grand daughters band competition so we were very tired. We were really just looking for a clean comfortable bed to...

We were thoroughly pleased with our stay at Hill City Inn this fall. The attention to details, the service, the cleanliness and friendliness were superior. With our children attending Liberty University, we plan on being in the area several times a year. We need a hotel that we can depend on, that will be clean, close and affordable. The quick...

Most every single place in Lynchburg was booked. This one popped up so we took it as we needed a place to stay. Unlike other reviews.. Online we had 1 price of $77. + tax and fees or the other was $85. +tax and fees "if you want the continental breakfast".. (which is only from 6:30am-9:30am on a Sunday morning)...

A very large 30-40 [???] year old motel with outdoor pool very close to down town and right off one of the freeways. The manager is Sam Patel and he speaks Hindustani as I do also so we hit it off right away. I spent the Friday night there before catching the train for DC and they let me leave...
