Our one night stay in Louisa afforded us an opportunity to stay at the charming Whistle Stop. Upon arrival, the scent of blooming flowers from the surrounding gardens and the sound of bubbling water from various little outdoor fountains greeted us as we made our way to the front door. After meeting the warm and friendly inn keeper, we settled...

On a visit to our daughter for Mother's Day we stayed for the first time at Whistle Stop. The location was great with no hotels within 45 minutes of Louisa. The owner, Trecia Jenkins, was a tremendous hostess and cook. The breakfasts were delicious and the hospitality genuine and friendly. The furnishings were eclectic and showed the history of the...

We have stayed in this totally charming and quaint b&b three times in the past four years and will stay here again. Not only is there an endless number of fabulous antiques to look at, Trecia serves amazing breakfasts. I always feel at home when I stay here and when I leave, I feel like I'm leaving a dear friend.

On our 75 day cross country bicycle trip we stayed in many different hotels, B&B's and cabins. Our stay at Whistle Stop was very memorable. Trecia went out of her way to accommodate us. We arrived earlier than the regular check-in time and she was completely prepared for us! She had the A/C going in our room, offered us cold...

I called and made a reservation just this evening (6:30 p.m.) because we were going to be visiting Louisa this weekend (Sat. - Sunday). I spoke with the host for about 15 minutes and confirmed the reservation. She mentioned that *all* of her rooms were available (I guess that's a little strange) and we could choose the room we wanted...

I was a guest at The Whistle Stop Inn in Louisa, Virginia from August 27 to September 3, 2014. It was a great place to stay while visiting family in the area. I paid $70.00/nightly for a very comfortable room with private bath. My room and the rest of the inn was filled with antiques - a real visual delight....

The Whistle Stop B&B is the best kept secret in Louisa. It will transport you back to a bygone era of grace and charm. Relax on the front porch, admire the flower beds, listen to the many song birds in the trees, or watch rabbits frolicking in the morning dew. Enjoy a super home made breakfast, which may include fresh...

Well, obviously, the guest who wrote the sour review has a pour attitude because of outside influences...come on, Mr. heartless! This is our second delightful stay here and dispite recovering from two surgeries on her knee, Trecia has done everything to make us most comfortable. Her charming home was heavily damaged during a recent earthquake and she's done a great...

ShThe owner obviously is not a happy person. The entire weekend she complained about everything negative in her world. Before we could check in to the room, for nearly two hours she explained in detail, how depressed she is for her husband leaving her nearly a decade ago. She is also a hoarder. The house was packed with antique junk....

As a child, I grew up visiting my loving Aunt Helen every summer. She had a beautiful home located in rural southern Indiana. Her home was filled with antiques. Tonight will be my third night of four nights here at the Whistle Stop B&B and I know already, I won't want to leave. I've fallen "in love" with Trecia (the...

“There are five guest rooms. Mine was on the south side of the house and was quiet; although a train whistle was a good early morning alarm. It was over with fast and didn't interfere with sleep.”
