We spent 3 nights here for my birthday. Everything was perfect, the room was large and comfortable. The food was fantastic, we were hard pressed to save room for desert at dinner, and the breakfasts were really good too. The public areas are so pretty, and the view is wonderful. We saw a bald eagle, humming birds, and eastern blue...

We stayed at House Mountain Inn on the way back from SC to CT with our two children. We chose a room that had a queen bed and a pull out couch. The deck was private with a small hot tub. The kids loved the hot tub! Our room was huge and very clean. The bathroom was very large as...

--just spent the weekend here for a wedding event, and can hardly say enough about the place. Sitting on the side of a mountain, the 10-ish year old lodge overlooks a small pound framed by mountains near and far. No expense was spared in building the facility. The well-maintained gardens around the property add to the charm. An outdoor room...

We wanted something extra-special for our 25th anniversary; my husband planned for quite awhile, knowing I love to hike and be alone together with no distractions from other people. He also knows I love to swim, but because of the hot tub on the porch, I was fine with no pool! We took two LONG hikes, so be prepared with...

My husband and I continue to come year after year for a long weekend getaway. Each time we come we stay 3 nights and we don't ever want to leave. The food is outstanding. There has not been anything on the menu that we do not like. One night we could not decide what to eat since we like it...

This B&B has the perfect location, offering a quiet, restful stay. The landscaping was beautiful, along with the wonderful water feature. The rooms are very nicely decorated with a woodsy theme, along with the 2-story foyer, displaying taxidermy, and various animal skins and a wonderful mural. The second floor balcony has the best view. The employees were very kind and...

We returned to the House Mountain Inn courtesy of our children for an anniversary/birthday celebration. The minute we arrived in the parking lot the worries of the world dropped away and relaxation set in. Our daughter was married here in 2013 and we visited it several times in anticipation of that event. It was so nice to be recognized and...

House Mountain Inn is an amazing place with lovely hosts. Jamie and Tim are the owners of the Inn. They are a very friendly, hardworking, young couple. My husband and I stayed on a Sunday evening in April, as part of a trip to Washington and Lee, to see our nephew. We decided to stay one extra night at a...

My wife and I have been staying at House Mountain Inn regularly since 2009. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. The rooms are perfect and the food is scrumptious! I highly recommend House Mountain Inn to anyone looking to get away and relax. Can't wait until we go back in January for my birthday :)
