Stayed at Keswick Hall for one night on a swing through Virginia. I wanted to visit Monticello and found this small luxury hotel. The building was built in 1912 as a personal home. It's been added to and expanded to about 50 rooms. It's old and quaint. There are numerous wood burning fireplaces and sitting areas. The rooms, while small...

My husband and I had a great stay at the Keswick for my birthday. The most outstanding aspect was the impeccable service. Everyone we met was friendly, professional and they went out of their way to be helpful. They had a special treat in our room because they knew it was my birthday. The bartender at the pub was great....

This property used to be run by Orient Express, and though they no longer operate the resort, the standards are at least as good as when we visited several years ago, maybe better. A stay here will set you back a pretty penny, but it's worth the indulgence. Everything is right - service; decor; food and beverage service; immaculate, sprawling...

We just spent a couple of much-anticipated nights at Keswick; usually we are at Boars Head but had heard good things about Keswick. The suite, $590 per night, was unfortunately not worth the price. The room had stink bugs, which my husband kept having to kill. The lights in the room were weird - you couldn't turn on the lights...

Thank you for your review. We do apologize that you did not find your suite to be to your liking and for the stink bug issue. Please know that we value your comments and will consider them as we continue to make improvements to the resort. Unfortunately, we have been diligent with the stink bugs but they are not to...

We traveled to Charlottesville to see my girlfriend's son's wedding. Driving up to the hall was awesome. I instantly knew this was a 5 star inn. The staff ran out to meet our car and unload the luggage and take it to our room. The girl at the front desk was warm and accommodating. Our room was large and filled...

I just got back from a three night stay with my wife and two grown daughters. We were blown away by the quality of the food. Everyone was kind and attentive to us. The rooms we got were very good, and the common rooms, many with wood-burning fireplaces, were comfortable. Everything was decorated tastefully for Christmas. There were heated indoor...

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful and elegant hotel , while exploring Charlottesville, VA and historic sites. Our room had a HUGE landscaped balcony overlooking the golf course, which we were able to enjoy, even in December!! The staff and personal attention was wonderful!! We had the historian's tour of the Hall, which was fun and informative. Lisa ,...

Keswick Hall is so beautiful. This historic hotel/resort provides a true Charlottesville experience and you can really get away from it all here. The grounds are wonderful to walk on (more than 600 acres) and don't miss them at Christmas time. The main restaurant, Fossett's, is incredible...delicious food and a friendly, accommodating wait staff. I highly recommend splurging and having...

Good friends in DC recommended staying at Keswick Hall just outside Charlottesville, and it did not dissappoint us.
