The only positive thing I can say is that the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. It all goes downhill from there. The property is in desperate need of renovation. The carpet in the public areas is stained and looks dirty. There was debris on the carpet the whole time we were there (3 days) so evidently it was never vacuumed. The chairs and loveseat in the room were stained as well. The carpet was also stained and worn. The tables and shelving in the room were dusty. There were 4 bags of kitchen-size trash bags full of trash that sat in the hallway outside one of the rooms for 2 days. The rate was reasonable, but do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks and stay somewhere else.

I would have given this property five stars however as a person with mobility issues I had issues with some aspects of the room. Check in was great. Extremely friendly desk clerk. My room was ready and it was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the ice maker started making ice quickly. The air conditioning worked great. The hotel is close to everything you need. A short drive to anything. The bed was nice and low so easy to get on. The recliner was a plus and comfy. However for my wife it was impossible to recline without my help as the chair was definitely made for a taller man. The bathroom was a good size HOWEVER, the toilet was way too low. The bars barely helped getting up! My biggest issue is the “mobility access” tub. Total lip service. There’s no cut out or way for a disabled or mobility challenged person to get in. Also no chair for a shower. Just because there are bars in the tub doesn’t make it accessible! Also the entryway to the bathroom has a “lip” that makes it virtually impossible to get a wheelchair or walker over it! Similar was the entrance to the room.

Pleasantly surprised as recent reviews were not great. The suite was very clean. Cons: My husband had to connect the cable on the TV(so it would work). It was disconnected Need more assistance and customer service training at the Front Desk.

The staff are kind and friendly. The room is nice, clean but not spotless, the baseboards need attention and so does the tub and toilet, nothing that made me freak out. Our bed was less than desirable and squeaked every time you moved, thumbs down on that one. The hallway carpet has some pretty spectacular stains that had my imagination running amuck. The hotel is conveniently situated and quiet A 7 out of 10

Do yourself a favor and keep driving. Although the lady at the front desk was very kind, that is where the positives end. The carpet in the halls and the floor in the elevator are in major need of repair and replacement. The rooms, although they’ve recently been renovated, are not clean. Our sheets on the bed were dirty, there were dirty socks on the floor in the closet, and the toilet seat is peeling terribly. There was also mold in the bathroom and the shampoo/conditioner bottles were empty. I didn’t report it at the time because I was made to feel like we got the last available room and after traveling all day, we just wanted to rest. If I had to do it all over again, I would have walked right back out the front door. Also, if you don’t get a room on the front side of the hotel, you are not going to rest well. The interstate is right outside your window on the back side of the hotel and you can hear every single truck that goes by. Very disappointed.

I just had a terrible overnight at this hotel. Travelers beware. There was MOLD in our bathroom, and the manager was barely phased when we reported this. Absolutely disgusting I would never stay here again. The first room we were checked into had no fire alarm, it was dismantled, ash on the counter. The second room seemed better but then upon waking up and going in the bathroom we found the mold.

This was a very disappointing experience. We try and use IHG hotels and this was not up to their standard. I'll start with the positive. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, the TV was great, the bath towels nice, the water pressure was strong and plenty of hot water. Negatives, the public spaces were really dirty - trash on the floor and stained carpets in the halls. Our room was missing most utensils and only had 1 glass. We were also missing a tv remote, but the front desk did bring one up. Our room smelled and the hallways smelled.There was no coffee in the am (which is now standard at all hotels). It was just, overall, disappointing

We never stayed at a Candlewood suites hotel so was unsure what to expect. We were in town for a funeral. Our stay was incredibly easy and comfortable, exactly what we needed. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bed was great, nice bedding and comfortable. The studio set up made it easy to make coffee, eat healthy breakfasts and lunches and just relax when not out and about. Anything you might need is just down the road so the location couldn't be beat. This will not be the last time we stay at Candlewood. If you're on the fence, give them a try. You may be happy as we were.

Spend your money on a decent room. If I could give this hotel no stars I would. I was given a room where the door was open, clearly not cleaned, torn curtains and soiled bed sheets. I called the front desk and informed the very sweet guest service woman that the room was unacceptable. She promptly offered to upgrade my room and went to check personally to see that it was clean. The second room was clean however the furniture looked like a cat had scratched up the sofabed, it had stains on it and just plain needed to be thrown away. Needless to say I requested a refund and left. This hotel needs a complete renovation. I have stayed at many IHG properties but this one is deplorable.

Arrived today to no baggage carts . The kind young Lady at the Front Desk ran over to a neighbour Hotel to borrow one for . Our thanks to here but what shabby way to run a business . Then we get back from dinner and want to eat some dessert only to find that all the dishes , silverware , Pots & Pans etc have been jammed into the dish washer and they are covered in food . They had been washed as they were soaked in water but the dish washer was so overloaded that it never stood a chance . Where is Management in this Property ??????? In addition I must say that this Property is way overdue for renovation , it is very tired . We have stayed in several Candlewood Suites & this is by far the worst .. We have one more night in our 2 night stay & I am sorry we are here . A Complete waste of money .. By the way the Front Desk told me that we were not the only ones who had complained about dirty dishes in their dishwasher today . Come on you are better than this ..
