My friend and I spent two nights in this lovely B & B. We were meeting to rekindle our friendship after losing touch with one another for about 40 years. This was the perfect setting. We stayed in the Lightfoot and Hill room; it's the only room with 2 beds. The house is decorated with many antiques and provides books...

We spent one night at Fountain Hall B&B. The room (Victoria suite) was lovely--the bed was gorgeous and comfortable, as was the entire public area of the inn. Our room was spacious and although the bathroom was small, it was very well laid out. Lovely hosts and nice breakfast. Appreciated that they made arrangements for us to come in very...

My husband I stayed there for our 27th anniversary. We stayed in the butlers suite. The bed was very comfortable. We had our own entrance and back porch. Great location, 1 block to downtown. Wish the room had a TV though, we like to watch the news and weather. Owners were VERY nice, and knowledgeable about the area. Cream cheese...

This 1800's mansion near the downtown shopping area of Culpepper has much to offer. Great hosts (a lovely family), delightful and beautiful breakfasts. Many spaces to just sit and 'be' as well as very private spaces. Lots of books to 'grab' for an evening read.

I've stayed at Fountain Hall for nearly a year and have been so comfortable and so well taken care of. Business has taken me to Culpeper every week and after trying several motels there, I was fortunate to find this accommodation for my home away from home. Week after week, the hosts were welcoming and accommodating and the B&B is...

It's a great old house in good condition with antiques. Don't use the front entrance, try the side. We had the Butler room with its impressive looking bed; it was comfortable. There was plenty of room and there was a nice private patio looking to the large backyard. The breakfast was semi-scheduled. While the breakfast was continental, the croissants were...

House was originally built in 1859 as a large Victorian house. In the 1920's it was renovated, enlarged and remodeled in the Greek Revival style. All six rooms have 10 foot ceilings and private baths. My bed had an excellent mattress. There are three common rooms. The back yard is expansive with beautiful trees. The house sits in a historic...

We had a delightful two night stay at Fountain Hall. The property is immaculately maintained and the grounds are perfect. I was a bit disappointed and surprised by the condition of the towels in our room. The towels themselves were faded and worn, and neither the used towels or wet washcloths were replaced with fresh towels for day two. Considering...

We had a delightful stay and would have loved to have stayed longer. Our room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The Walker's have a ton of DVD's you can watch, if so inclined, and an abundance of books as well as very comfortable common rooms. Steve knows - it seems - *everything* about the area and can acquaint you...

We spent last night at Fountain Hall and were extremely glad we did. Our room, The Chelf Room, had a very comfortable bed, a private porch and a Jacuzzi bath tub. The freshly made croissants and fresh fruit for breakfast were delicious. Thanks Steve and Kathi Walker for a wonderful respite!
