The Sea Shell motel is a very charming place. Very different environment from Motels I have stayed in. It's a family owned place and they do a great job. I have been there a few times with my husband and also with family and friends. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. We enjoyed their outdoor kitchen to...

The Sea Shell motel is clean & comfortable with friendly staff. The grounds were very nice. We loved the screened in gazebo for family gatherings. It's within walking distance of the town's attractions & shopping. We loved the flexibility that larger families in our group could stay in one of the cottages also owned by the motel.

The Sea Shell Motel is a quaint little hideaway on Chincoteague Island that my family feels far outstrips its cookie cutter competitors on the edge of the island. The motel is absolutely spotless; the walls were white and there was not a stain to be found in our room. Though the motel itself is an older establishment from the 60's,...

This is a motel from the 60's that is well maintained and very clean. It is a good deal for the money because the more modern motels in Chincoteague are twice the price. But do not expect anything fancy.or a breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the room large. If you are on a tight budget or just a...

The motel was as clean as a whistle, Staff could not have been nicer or more efficient. Pricing was phenomenal for the small efficiency we booked. My only issue was that the mattresses were dated and not terribly comfortable. Mattress toppers would be helpful in lieu of buying all new mattresses. I still highly recommend the Sea Shell Motel.

The Sea Shell Motel is family owned. I respect those ‘still in the family’ places because you know the personal touches are important. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The place is spotless. It's got a charm that you will never find in the chain hotels. The owners care about your welfare and want you to return. Does it...

This was the nicest "motel" we've ever stayed at! Beautifully landscaped with friendly staff! Even the groundskeepers are polite and social. One of the reasons we stayed here was not only because of convenient location, but because of how many reviews we read that mentioned how clean it was. I can tell you firsthand the reviews are true, it is...

We stay here for four days for biker week. Great location in walking distance to down town. Rooms are a nice size and clean. It's a older hotel and the pool and rooms show it age. I would definitely stay here again! You can't beat the price!!

This is my second stay at the Seashell Motel. First time was in a traditional motel room several years ago. I remembered the room being exceptionally clean, and reasonably priced. When my extended family wanted to visit Chincoteague Island, I highly recommended the Seashell Motel. One part of our group stayed in Cottage #3, the other part stayed in Dolly's...

My family of 4 visited in early August, 2016. I am a senior and the desk clerk accommodated me with a first floor room. First sign the Sea Shell Motel was very accommodating. The room was very clean and neat. Best thing was lots of towels. With 2 teenage girls we needed them. We also needed a rollaway bed and...
