Although a bit cold outside for April, we were plenty warm inside. Lovely music always playing in the background, we have scrumptious breakfasts and tea that was always properly served. Good atmosphere brought guests together for delightful conversation.

We had a great stay at the Channel Bass. The innkeepers, Barbara and Dave, were so personable, taking care to introduce each guest to one another by name. They attended to all the details, booking tables for dinner, serving a spectacular breakfast, and welcomed us to a cozy, traditional Enlish tea. I highly recommend staying at the Channel Bass.

We stayed at Channel Bass Inn for a couple of nights during a weekend visit to Chincoteague area. We found Channel Bass Inn on both TripAdvisor and BedandBreakfast.com, and in both sites it received excellent reviews from past guests. Another reason why we decided to stay at Channel Bass Inn was because it was pet friendly. The good reviews on...

My adult daughter and I stayed here for a mother-daughter weekend and had a great time. The inn itself is lovely, with large, well-kept rooms. Our family has stayed in a lot of B&B's, especially in the U.K. This B&B reminded us strongly of England, especially with the afternoon tea that we went to during our stay. Most notable was...

The Channel Bass is located right in the middle of the action in Chincoteague. It is an easy walk to many of the restaurants and ice cream spots on the island, but would be kind of a hike to the beach. Barbara and David are incredibly sweet and accommodating. They have an entire room with all kinds of beach gear...

We really appreciate your complimentary review and would love to welcome you back to the Channel Bass. Most guests, like yourselves, do like to meet other guests at breakfast and tea-time, but we certainly want our guests to feel comfortable. If they prefer to sit by themselves, that can be arranged! Thank you so much. Barbara and David
