Lovely Inn about a mile and a bit out of town and near a busy road but that wasn’t intrusive, comfortable room with everything you need and lots of books about Jefferson (we were in the Jefferson room). Good breakfast and we got to meet and chat with fellow guests which is always interesting, on the second day it was...

The owners are Carolyn and Bob who were wonderful hosts and made you feel at home. They are very sweet people! Took a short trip to Charlottesville and stayed at the Inn at Monticello. Since I was travelling with my mother who has mobility issues, I called and talked to Carolyn to figure out the best room. Carolyn was very...

With 30+ years of experience, this is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. The house is charming, the rooms comfortable, the other guests interesting and the hosts knowledgeable and personable. They were amazingly accommodating to my my dietary needs (gluten-free vegan).

Bob was so helpful in guiding on the lovely walk from the Inn to Monticello. The breakfast was delightful and mingling with the guests and meeting Mikey was also worth the stay. The room was clean and comfortable.

Thank you for your note, and we will let Mikey know he has new fans! Just yesterday he got a new "foster" sister who is with us for a while awaiting adoption. She is a chihuahua, and Mikey has learned to share his space very nicely. We think he prefers hosting human guests!

This antique house had East Lake furnishings, gingerbread decorations, and a large pleasant front yard with mature trees. It is across the street from Monticello with a road off of the main highway (or a very steep hiking trail) to get there. The owners and staff are nice and friendly. The room was large with an adequate bathroom, but the...

Thanks so much for your review. We're sorry you found things were lacking and didn't tell us about them while you were here. We always strive to learn from any guest that has suggestions or input about their room. We're not sure if you were aware, but the house was actually built in 1860 - and it is definitely not...

Inn is conveniently located to Monticello and a number of highly rated eateries in the area. Greeted and well received; informed of the amenities in the Inn and its location in relation to Monticello and local restaurants. Guests should know when staying in the Washington Room that bathroom access is outside the room. Not a problem for us but guests...

We hope for guest feedback while the guest is still here, at least for issues that we can control, like breakfast. Over the time this guest stayed with us we had a number of special requests and dietary needs that were relayed ahead of the reservations. For example: we made breakfast for a vegan, a gluten free and nut-free guest,...

We spent two days in this breathtaking scenic area near the Shenandoah National Park. The Bed and Breakfast was charming and furnished in period decor. The owners were very hospitable and every detail met our expectations. Each room has remodeled private bathrooms as well.. We would definitely return.

Long before we arrived until the moment we left, my girlfriend and I felt like we were with family. Carolyn and Bob are wonderful hosts. The home is over a 100 years old. Each room is unique and pristine in its own way. We stayed in the "Adams Room". Everything in the house is done in good taste and attention...
