You can't go wrong with one of the suites they offer at this English style inn. Indoor pool and just tucked in perfectly settled off the 250 U.S. 29 business making it much quieter than most hotel designs. Great staff and management.

Me and my family just spended the weekend at this hotel for a Family Reunion in the area, in which our family occupied 13+ rooms . And it was HORRIBLE !!!!! Spent two nights here in June 2015 with my family. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms we clean, and the pool was great. The kids loved how it was decorated with a unique sort of charm. We will definitely make it our place to stay when in Charlottesville.

If you want a comfortable bed, stay in the main building.....When I checked out and complained about the uncomfortable, older bed in our suite in the Mews Building, I was told that the beds in the main building had been recently replaced and it was suggested that we stay there next time. Our suite was well appointed, but uninviting with...

Was pleasantly surprised by this clean, comfortable inn. It is an older establishment, but nicely decorated and has soothing ambience with classical music playing in the background. Cookies and tea are served in the afternoon and a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning. The indoor pool was a little chilly, but it didn't stop my sister and I from having...

This is an older property and a tiny bit worn but charming. It's done in the style of an English inn. They have a very large indoor pool. They offer a breakfast buffet with lot's of options. Rooms are clean. I've stayed here multiple times and I wouldn't return if it didn't work for me. It's located near a bagel...

Price point comfort for 4.Plus plus the best sized swimming pool that I've seen in a week on the road. Comfortable and clean. Great fridge and microwave. Close to a great Mexican restaurant. El Puerto.

English Inn provides nice, clean rooms, friendly and efficient staff, a wonderful breakfast, afternoon tea, a large indoor pool and much more--all for a very affordable rate. We have stayed there three times and plan to stay whenever we are in C'ville.
