Our stay at Peace Hill was perfect in every way. The amenities at this country setting were "peaceful," and first-rate. Four of us cycled from Richmond on the new Virginia Capital to Capital Trail and stayed here for two nights. Mike and Tanya are exceptional hosts and provided for our special needs in cycling packed out. Most special was the...

Upon hearing that our son and his wife and 6 children were going to visit the Jamestown area for his birthday, my wife and I thought we would surprise them. With the help of our daughter-in-law we arranged to stay at the same place. We arrived a day early, since we had further to go, and are we happy we...

We will definitely be back! Tanya and Mike were outstanding hosts. We came for a short family vacation to take our 6 kids to Jamestown and Yorktown. The brand new Hen House was available and comfortably accommodated our not-so-small family. Tanya made a delicious birthday meal for my husband, and easily managed our gluten-free request. We enjoyed breakfast (gluten free)...

Our stay at Peace Hill was an absolute delight - much more like coming home than staying somewhere. The farmhouse was charming and beautifully furnished, with a comfortable porch and sun room. The breakfast was delectable. The hosts were lovely; it felt like visiting with old friends! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to doing it again! 😊

If you're looking for a serene spot to relax and unwind, this is the place. It's off the beaten track a bit, but easy to find and only about 30 minutes from Williamsburg, VA. The hosts are delightful and accommodating and the rooms are very comfortable and immaculate. The adjacent farm is a short walk down a gravel path through...

I have stayed here a few times and am always so happy to come back again. The location is peaceful and serene, the hosts are gracious and accommodating, the food is fresh and delicious. AND the bed is the most comfortable one in the world! I thought about staying in it all day until the smell of fresh ground coffee...

This place is exactly what you want when looking for a bed and breakfast getaway. Firstly, the food the hosts served was on par. Who would have thought one could get authentic, delicious, home-cooked Cuban food in Virginia? Seriously, to DIE FOR. Secondly, the home has an inviting gentile-country vibe that soaks right down into your bones. We stayed while...

Mike and Tanya couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. Tanya's breakfast was wonderful---squash fritters, scones, fruit, yogurt, orange juice and coffee. She even gave us a doggy bag as we couldn't eat everything. Their home is a peaceful haven, the bed was soft. We hope to return some day soon.

The Bed and Breakfast at Peace Hill is a lovely old farmhouse set in the Virginia countryside, but near enough to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown to serve as an ideal base to explore these areas. Mike and Tanya Moore, the innkeepers, are a lovely couple and are the ideal hosts, going out of their way to make guests feel at...
