Beautiful old plantation house set in lovely grounds, including a lake to the rear lawn and gardens. Fantastic alternative to the usual hotels. We had a friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms on arrival. The rooms are extremely comfortable with plenty of space, comfortable beds and the softest towels you've ever felt. Recommend getting there in the daylight...

Kings Creek Inn was an unexpected but much appreciated gem of a find. It was easy to find, located very close to the town of Cape Charles which was also a pleasure to visit. The Inn is a colonial building rebuilt with modern amenities, There are three floors, five rooms and common living room and hall on the first floor....

My husband and I stayed at the Kings Creek Inn one night the weekend of the Eastern Shore Birding & Wildlife Festival. What a beautiful, historic inn! Sadly we could not stay long as we were busy enjoying the birding festival. I had hoped to stay a second night, but the inn was full. Dawn, the innkeeper, was kind enough...

I regret that I did not have longer to stay at the King's Creek Inn. It is one of the best bed and breakfast that I have stayed in . Alice and her husband Tracy helped to make our stay unforgettable. I traveled with my good friend and her mother from New Brunswick, NJ after moving my friend's daughter into...

We stayed just one night. The weather was just awful but we didn't need to leave. Alice cooked an amazing dinner and terrific breakfast in the morning. The house is rich with history! We couldn't explore the grounds due to the weather but we will definitely go back!

We initially booked at the Kings Creek Inn for the fourth of July wekend because it was the only B&B available, but we could not have made a better choice. Our party of four (two couples) were the only guests most of our two-day stay and we enjoyed exceptional hospitality and food. The chef (Alice) was outstanding. She fed us...

Great service, wonderful hosts, beautiful grounds with water view. Rooms are lovely and very well appointed. The downstairs pub and restaurant looked really cool--we didn't get a chance to dine there, but it's probably pretty good b/c our host made a delicious breakfast. The inn can't change the fact it's located at the end of a suburban housing tract--which kinda...

This Inn oozes historical charm. The quiet and serene location on the water was so beautiful. Our room was clean and comfy. Downtown Cape Charles was just a 5 minute ride away. Our hostess and Chef, Alice, made our stay a five star experience.

My wife and I spent our first anniversary at King's Creek Inn, and we couldn't have left happier. The house is even more beautiful in person, and the food was fantastic for both dinner and breakfast. Alice and Tracy are great hosts; we felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door, and they always went out...

Our two couples stayed for two nights recently and had this beautiful restored plantation home to ourselves, The suites were spacious and comfortable and the grounds and views of the creek were truly beautiful. We had a delicious dinner out on the back porch that compared well to five star restaurants where we have eaten and Alice's breakfasts were a...

“Air conditioning really rocks--if you like that kind of thing. We closed the vents in our room and turned on the heater. Opened the windows to warm things up a bit too.”

“All the rooms are lovely but the 3rd floor is a lot of stairs and may not be for everyone. We stayed on the 3rd floor and loved it.”

“We stayed on the third floor. The rooms are unexpectedly large and well conditioned. We visited during record high temperatures (Virginia Beach was about 100 degrees) and our room, even though a hike from below, was kept at an excellent temperature. If, however, you have mobility issues, beware that there are a lot of stairs.”

“Decide if you want a private balcony and view of the water. The cost is a bit more but well worth it if available.”
