We bought a RV last week and spent the weekend at the park. Beautiful sunsets on the pier and beach. There are bike and kayaks to rent. The little camp store was very well price. We bought a crabbing net and string for pulling up our net. We caught crabs and cooked them with fellow campers. There are plenty of...

We camped here for 2 nights mid week in May. We were in the tent only section with no amenities. First sight in loop F I believe. We choose a nicely wooded with a trail out the back of the sight that leads to the sand dune and the beach. The sights are on a first come first serve basis....

Definitely returning as soon as we can. They never bothered us and everyone was very. Ice. The little camp store had just what we needed including some ice cream on these hot days. Beaches are great! Separate dog beach also, which we loved. The pier is very nice with a fish cleaning station.

This was a great place for families. Water shallow for quite a distance. Families with children were all enjoying a relaxing safe place. Not crowded. Awesome affordable day of swimming. It was $5.00 per vehicle to get into park to swim. Take plenty of sunscreen. There is a small camp store, bathhouse for changing in & of swimsuits & rinsing...

We just happened to call about camping here for 2 nights. What a find! The campground sites are grassy and spacious and well maintained. The older woman who checked us in was terrific! Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We needed a minor rv repair and she found a local service shop. The beach was gorgeous and the concrete ships at the...

I will say we were a but disappointed with the camping area for rv and travel trailers. The website says sites are 50% shaded and in fact almost all sites are sitting in the middle of the open field. The sites were wide and plenty big, most were somewhat level that we had seen. Security is nice as he Rangers...

We just returned from tent camping at the park. We really loved it there! Everyone was very helpful and nice. I do not recommend this park for rv camping. All the rv sites were basically in a field with no tress. But all the tent sites were wonderful! Very shaded and all the sites were well maintained. We were able...

I staid here for four nights and had a great time solo camping. The facilities were excellent for the price. The park itself is wonderful. The water is crystal clear at the white sandy beach. In July, it's a pleasure to swim in. There are also plenty of opportunities to fish and hike. Explore the trails and find wild blackberries...

We took our kids there and went fishing and also walked the beach and played and the nice clean park that they had all in walking distance to where we parked. The person at the gate was very helpful in letting us know the fishing rules since we don't fish that often. we will return

“If tent camping, the first two campsites on either side of the road as you enter any of the 3 tent loops will always be most private as you'll have no one on one side and no one to your rear. After that it's pretty wide open.”
