We have stayed at several hotels in the Mount Snow area, they all have pros and cons. The pros for Nutmeg are that it is 2 minutes from Wilmington Center, stores and restaurants, (which we preferred versus being close to the mountain) and only 20 minutes from Mount Snow; the room was a nice size and there are several other...

This is a totally charming little inn. It's very typically New England and its wonderful inherent coziness and warmth is added to by its delightful owners Shelly and Paul as well as by its manager Wendy all of whom couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. We stayed there in December and just loved absolutely everything about it including the...

Quintessential cozy bed and breakfast. Perfect location. Wonderful home cooked breakfast with a menu! Delish coffee, juice, frittata, jam and peanut butter or apple butter with toast to hold you over until cooked to order meal arrived. The innkeepers were darling. We have a five week old. They allowed us to use the refrigerator and a perfect king room tucked...

We went to the BEST--> B and B EVER! The Nutmeg Inn in Wilmington, VT. The day after Thanksgiving this year. My Wife and I and her Sister and Brother-in-law. We had such a great time, we are already planning our next trip up. Kathy and Shelly and Paul were the nicest Host I have ever had the pleasure of...

Preface: it's arguable that this Inn is worthy of five stars if judged relative to the inns in the immediate area and the service provided. I gave it four because of those strengths, but also because there are more luxurious inns in Vermont (which are much, much more costly as well) that are really in the five-star category... I decided...

I found this B and B because I wanted something not too far from Brattleboro, VT. I also wanted a two person whirl pool tub and a fireplace in the room, which The Nutmeg was able to accommodate! My girlfriend and I loved the house, the room, the host (Wendy), and the breakfast. We highly recommend this inn and look...

This inn, under new ownership, is just a little beauty, located along the Vermont 100. My room was just perfect, though it is quite a trek up a steep staircase (typical of old inns in the area). I would like to acknowledge Wendy, with whom I made an instant friendship. She could not have been more cordial or helpful. I...

Thank you so much for taking time to write a review, we really appreciate it. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your time and The Nutmeg and was sorry to read that breakfast was not as satisfying as it should have been. Food is important to us at The Nutmeg so the last thing we want is hungry guests leaving our...

Old building, low ceilings and beams, hard working staff who try hard to relate to their guests. Tasty breakfasts. Just had a change of ownership and seemed a bit in limbo. But still welcoming, especially with a glass of wine as a get-to-know-you in the evening (awaiting bar licence). I don't think the staff could try harder to talk to...

Thanks so much for choosing to spend part of your vacation with us and for your feedback. I loved your description of the building as being "quirky", that's exactly what it is and one of the things that attracted us to it. We know we have a lot of work to do bring the building into the 21st century without...

Quaint! Sweet! Lovely! the only way to describe The Nutmeg Inn. The staff and owner were absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was amazing and our room was clean and quaint. We enjoyed the fireplace and we were able to bring our dog with. My boyfriend proposed to me on our hike and later found out the staff helped him make it...
