Gretchen(my wonderful newfie) and I have stayed at the Paw House Inn several times. I travel alone and feel so safe and peaceful there. The Innkeepers could not be more accomodating. They even got my newfie to play well with other doggies, which is a...More
We wanted to thank Mitch and Jenn for having an Inn such as The Paw House Inn. What a great place if you like to travel with your dog. Most hotels, that allow pets, have you leave your dog crated in the room while you...More

My wife and I brought our dog to this charming bed and breakfast. Mitch and Jennifer were some of the nicest people we've dealt with at B&B's. They are very helpful. Rather than mints on the pillow we had dog treats, and a long list...More

I've been exploring the area (staying at Okemo in Ludlow) for about a week now. Favorites were mountain hike (6 miles round-trip but no need to go the whole way up) in Okemo State Park and Buttermilk Falls (great swimming hole). Both great with the dog! Is there decent swimming down the gorge? And, bad idea to go on a Sunday? Any off-leash opportunities?

There is a reservoir in Chittenden (close to Rutland) that was great for swimming with the dogs. Mitch at the Pawhouse gave us direction. Also walking trails there but no off leash opportunities.
