This place is run down and dirty. Mold in the shower, bugs coming up the drain, a old dirty washcloth left in the bathroom. Worse they had no liquor license, no bar or lounge that was open. Food OK, but silverware was dirty, artificial creamer served in container and left out. The only nice thing was the bonfire the first...

We used a living social voucher so this was an amazingly cheap weekend away. Leaf peeping and Oktoberfest at Mt snow was the reason for the trip. The Lodge is outdated and shabby, but rooms and linens were clean, and staff friendly and helpful. Our voucher included dinner one night which was good- steak and shrimp cooked well in a...

Okay, this place is a bit outdated and could use some TLC. However, the staff, namely Roger, went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. When the change machine was out of order and we wanted to play pool, Roger gave us the change out of his own pocket! If you're looking for a laid back place...

We went on this trip to play golf for a couple of days and see the foliage. The deal seemed generous on Living Social so I went for it without reading the reviews. Upon entrance there were two empty Heineken six packs lying by the side of the stairs. There was a terribly musty odor in the entryway and that...

We visited here because we bought a ridiculous Living Social Coupon that gave us two nights, two breakfasts,a lunch, and dinner for $59! The hosts went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. When there were problems, they fixed them immediately. All the food was fine. It is a small and easygoing place. Highly recommended.

I have now stayed at the Lodge three summers in a row. The first time was a spur of the moment purchase my boyfriend and I made on a Living Social deal, just like many other reviewers on here. We wanted a quick getaway and had never been to Dover before, but the cheap price of the voucher and the...

We were looking for an affordable getaway for our honeymoon. The Living Social offer sounded like a lovely and affordable deal. We purchased two so we would, in essence have a week. We have had wonderful experiences with our previous two LS experiences so this time it was quite disheartening to have it come up short. The positives: The offer...

This place looks like it hasn't had any work done on it since the 1980s. Our room had a substantial plastered-over (but not sanded or painted) hole in the wall at about eye level. All the furnishings are out-of-date and/or worn. On the other hand, the staff really tried to do the best they could, and the breakfasts, picnic lunch,...

Sure, I was hesitant. Look at some of the reviews. Most are accurate about the positives and negatives. My wife and I spent two days up there on a living social deal. A sweet dinner with lobster and steak was included on one of our nights. We were so happy we decided to eat there and pay for the second...
