We are season pass holders at Mt Snow & have tried a few different lodging options in the area, but hands down, Big Bear's Lodge is our new favorite! Caroline & Steve make you feel right at home (the home cooked breakfast is fabulous) & welcomed! We were there with our (2) tween boys, who love the game room (specifically...

Stayed at Big Bear for 2 nights during a recent ski trip. The rooms are basic, but roomy...really enjoyed the pancakes and bacon included in the price. The Jacuzzi apres-ski was most enjoyable. The common areas are great--nice spots to relax! Big Bear is only a mile from Mt Snow, so it's a great place to spend a few days'...

Big Bears is your basic motel. The room was small but clean. As with most places like this, the bed and pillows left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was included in the rate. On the plus side, it is convenient and close to Mt. Snow. It would have been better if the walls weren't so thin. The groups coming...

We stopped here for one night on our way from Boston to Stowe/Vermont. It's very basic but it served the purpose. It is. Clean, the bed is good and breakfast was really nice where a nice lady offered us eggs made to our request. Surely a good place for our one night there.

Caroline and Steve are two Brits who offer a warm welcome and comfort to travellers in their well equipped lodge. For skiers there's storage in the basement plus games tables while on the ground floor two very comfy lounges are available for all. In the garden there's a pool and a kids climbing frame which I'm sure is a bonus...

The owners of this place are so kind, been here twice now and couldn't fault them at all!! It's a must if your wanting to stay somewhere family ran! The included breakfast that's on offer is a nice touch. Brilliantly cooked, I'd come here just for the pancakes. Fantastic location, with many restaurants close enough to give you a good...

Cons: Caroline, the English woman at the front desk was not welcoming at all. She seemed very unhappy and really didn't want to be there. Food was not great and was a small section. Didn't have Vermont syrup! Beds were terrible. Ice machine broken. Hot tub was locked at all times. Pro: murder mystery part of the weekend was fun....

We attended the murder mystery at this Lodge...it was delightful experience, the staff were pleasant and accommodation were suitable for the area. Beds were a little stiff and not good for the back. All in all a wonderful time was had by all.
