My husband and I visited Grand View Farm for a weekend-stay last month. It is an enchanting place. The B&B area of the house was built in the 1700's and is beautiful. Kim and Chuck are awesome hosts. In addition to being treated to incredible breakfasts (including pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, both from their farm and taking into...

Winter tends to be our "slow" time of year on the farm, yet one of the most beautiful. This couple took full advantage of our offer to take them on a guided snowshoe trek in the woods across from the farm. For those looking for winter adventure, our farm is also less than a mile away from the VAST (Vermont...

Spending 2 nights at Grand View Farm was a restorative, inspiring, peaceful, calming, delicious and wonderful experience. I came here with my sister and a friend for a girls getaway with the intention of unplugging from city life for a bit and reconnecting with what's truly important. Kim & Chuck are incredible hosts and cooks, and recommended some great stops...

With two bedrooms, our Farmhouse Suite makes a wonderful destination for a friends get-away. These three young ladies enjoyed touring the area and sampling some of Vermont's finest foods. We enjoyed sharing our farm with them.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 4 day stay at a top notch and welcoming B&B which offered an enchanting farm stay experience amongst the most facinating backdrop of Vermont's only Gotland sheep farm. Breakfasts and dinners were beyond my expectation. Along the way I thoroughly enjoyed 3 days of private felting classes with Kim which have taken me to a whole new...

I offer private fiber art classes in my barn studio upon request. This guest had a four night, three day "mini retreat" all to herself. Her retreat included all meals and instruction. It was a joy to work alongside of such an enthusiastic student!

I came here for a long weekend over New Year's Eve with my boyfriend and friends and we had an absolutely lovely time. Kim and Chuck were attentive and helpful hosts and the breakfasts and dinners were delicious. We snowshoed and relaxed by the woodstove and got to meet the sheep and the llama! Apparently if you go back in...

My stay at Vermont Grand View Farm was so much more than your typical "we had a lovely time" kind of review!! Vermont Grand View Farm, a working sheep farm and Bed and Breakfast, conveniently located to everything Vermont, is an experience not to be missed. The actual B&B, built in the late 1700's is a pristine, beautifully restored house...

We serve a continental breakfast Monday-Friday right in the Farmhouse Suite so that you can sleep in and eat at your leisure. Saturday and Sunday are full service breakfast days. I am happy to accommodate dietary restrictions with some advance notice. These two women were a delight to get to know and we hope to see them again soon!

My wife and I stayed at the Grand View Farm in early August and we could not have been happier with our experience!! We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us! We would love to host you again one day. We do try to serve locally grown foods to our guests, and the bacon is raised right here on our own farm!

Me and my family just needed a place to relax with the kids away from our juggling schedules, and the farm was a very goof fit for all of us. Kids(11 and 3) got to tour the animals under supervision which is good, loved the daily evening farm chores which they still cannot stop talking about, and the campfire that...

This family enjoyed all aspects of the farm, from helping with chores, to relaxing on the porch. We loved having the extra hands during chore time to help carry water and grain to the animals! We look forward to meeting them again one day.

If your looking for a place to stay to just relax and enjoy you have come to the right place. Kim and Chuck are the perfect hosts. I give Grand View Farm my highest recommendation. Chuck and Kim are perfect hosts and guides. My family (my husband, I and two children ages 15 and 5) have indelible memories from our recent weeklong stay -- egg collecting, wild raspberry picking, hauling hay, communing with the sheep, gazing at the Milky Way and a shooting star in the night...

This family stayed with us for 7 nights on the farm. In doing so, they were able to experience much of Vermont country living. They stayed fairly close to the farm in their excursions, visiting neighboring farms, and our closest "city", Barre. They happily joined us in our chores and even volunteered to help put hay up in our barn....

Our farmhouse suite has a small kitchenette with a microwave, small refrigerator, sink, and dishes, making it more convenient to store food and prepare simple snacks and meals. The closest village is a 4 mile drive where you will find several general stores with the basic supplies. A 15 mile drive north, will bring you to either a large chain...
