Wow! Weathertop Mountain Inn is a fabulous place to stay if one visits the Mad River area in Vermont. The rooms are very comfortable and are interestingly 'themed'. We stayed in the Charles Orvis  room,  bedecked with fishing artefacts. There is space to relax in a stunning Great Room that has a cozy log fire in winter time evenings. The...

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with others. We were delighted to see you again this season and are happy that you chose to renew your "belonger" status. We are also pleased to hear that you enjoyed our new additions to the menu and wine list. Same time next year???

I recently stayed at the Weathertop Mountain Inn, Feb 20-24 th. The location is excellent, 3 minutes and I was at the base of Mt Ellen....I was not going to write this review but since my daughter and her friend brought it up I decide that I would. They complained that every time they were in the Inn and Lisa...

Weathertop Mountain Inn is a family friendly property, welcoming children over the age of 5. We have many families who visit frequently , including the 3 other families who were inn guests at the very same time as Nick. During his visit 75% of our inn was occupied by families with children. It is unfortunate that this guest felt our...

Mike greeted us upon arrival and provided a thorough introduction to our rooms - about what I would expect at a B&B. Our rooms on the third floor were very nice and the rec room in the attic was fantastic. The included breakfast was very yummy. We chose this B&B due to its proximity to Sugarbush mountain. With the overnight...

Aaron is correct...If you are looking for a grab & go breakfast in order to catch first tracks, our place is probably not your best alternative. During the winter months, we serve breakfast from 7:30am - 9:00am. We take great pride in the fact that we offer our guests a choice of entrees from our a la carte menu, which...

Mike and Lisa made us feel right at home in the quaint Frost room on the second floor. Private fridge, king size bed, coat rack, double sinks, and separate shower and toilet (very convenient). Outside our room, the third floor common area had a very nice atmosphere with a mix of antique Vermont and Asian decor (they lived in Singapore...

We were in Waitsfield for a July wedding. Lisa and Michael were the best of hosts. They are very earth friendly. It was very clean and comfortable. The place is decorated with items from all over the world that Lisa and Mike have traveled too - mostly southeast asia. The breakfast was always great. They had a baked omelet that...

Our stay at Weathertop Mountain Inn was simply wonderful. My wife, two grown children and myself were received with courtesy and warmth upon arrival by Mike and Lisa (the managers/owners). Fortunately, the snow arrived in the area at the same time we did, as this was planned as a ski holiday. The facility's location, about half a mile from German...

The Weathertop Mountain Inn was very easy to find after a rather long, late night drive. It was conveniently located for my husband's telemark weekend and for my travels around Vermont. We stayed in the Robert Frost room, which was spacious, clean and charming. I can't think of any amenity that wasn't provided! The innkeepers are a pleasant, friendly couple...

We have stayed at many nice hotels, motels, inns and condos, but this week we experienced probably the nicest B&B Inn ever. That is the Weathertop Mountain Inn in Waitsfield, VT.
