Our visit to the Applebutter Inn was a wonderful experience. A much needed break for my husband and I- we relaxed, enjoyed Woodstock, did some hiking and found it to be a lovely time. I am a runner and loved being able to take off through a covered bridge and run along the river. Barbara and Michael are great hosts...

I spent a much needed relaxing weekend with my family and extended family at the Applebutter Inn. Our rooms were wonderful (clean, coozy and cool despite the un-Vermont-like hot humid weather), the breakfasts were treats that I still dream about, the home is pleasant and comfortable, and the innkeepers are simple wonderful people. My family and extended family had a...

My wife and I stayed there from July 13- 20, 2009, and this was our second time at this Bed and Breakfast. The both of us feel this Breakfast stands alone as the best breakfast we have had at any of the B&B's we have stayed at. It is a cozy and charming place to stay. We highly recommend it.

The Applebutter Inn is a great place to go with your family. They have AMAZING Breakfasts! You get a terrific muffin (mixed berry is my favorite) and yogurt and fruit. Barbara and Michael, the friendly owners, will also serve blueberry puffed pancakes and homemade applebutter. At around 4:30pm homemade cookies and tea is served!! We stayed in the Royal Gala...

On 6-22-09 I went to the Applebutter Inn. I was staying in the Royal Gala room. It was the biggest room there. I was staying with my mom, brother, and granny. When we arrived the innkeepers gave my family a tour of the inn. From that you could already tell that the innkeepers Michael and Barbara were very kind and...

On our 4th visit to the Applebutter Inn in Taftsville, VT, we learned that it is now a green hotel. This is a quiet and elegant inn right outside of Woodstock. There are many places nearby and there is excellent access to Dartmouth College just across the river in New Hampshire. The innkeepers provide a relaxed atmosphere with an excellent...

We just returned from our 4th stay at the Applebutter Inn. We have stayed at a few other places in the Woodstock area and this is our favorite! The Applebutter is an ideal place to stay if you want access to great skiing (downhill and X-country), snowshoeing, hiking, shopping, relaxing and eating! We always visit between Christmas and New Year’s...

Barbara and Michael, the innkeepers at Applebutter, love what they do and as a result, the guests reap the rewards. The inn is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean with little touches everywhere to indicate to guests that every one of their needs will be met.......and more. The breakfasts were better than any restaurant could provide with Barbara expertly taking care...

After months of buziness at work and before the family gathering of Thanksigiving, we took a night to stay at this lovely inn in VT. Michael and Barbara made us feel comfortable from the beginning, upgrading our room because of availability. Both the room and inn were warm and cozy as a fire was kept going in the living room....

Reading all the excellent reviews of the place got me reminiscing about our Honeymoon in this beautfiul b&b.
