We had a great experience at the Stowe Village Inn! When walking in, you can tell the whole Inn has been recently remodeled. We stayed in the King Bedroom suite on the lower level and the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept on! The room was very welcoming and comfortable. Our only complaint was it was a little noisy on the first floor with people coming and going. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here if in Stowe!

Our first stay at the Stowe Village Inn last week. Our room was in the main part of the hotel (room 201), and its design was perfect. Obviously updated recently, if the design intent was to preserve the character of a traditional New England Inn while introducing more sophisticated and updated elements, they nailed it. The bedding was very comfortable, and we found the living room(?) on the first floor to be a very peaceful place to hang out at night, although we visited during an off-peak time and overall the Inn was quite quiet when we were there. (Not at all sure what staying behind the main building would be like - that building didn't appear to have the same ambiance although we only viewed it from outside in the parking lot.) The restaurant wasn't yet open, but looks like it will have great atmosphere when it does. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Very easy to recommend a stay here. Definitely would stay here again.

We stayed at The Stowe Village Inn in mid November, just after leaf peeping and before ski season. The owners have done a wonderful job renovating this historic inn! It is an excellent mixture of old Vermont charm coupled with modern amenities. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean and newly updated with a very comfortable king size bed and pillows, nice linens, a brand new bathroom, large smart TV and great wifi . They offer delicious, complimentary locally sourced artisanal coffee throughout the day. There are plenty of spots throughout the inn to relax with your coffee and a good book, as well as a large porch with ample seating to sit outside and enjoy the scenery as weather permits. The beautifully renovated lounge/bar area with lovely views is a great place to gather informally or for special events. There is ample parking. The inn is centrally located in the charming village of Stowe with an easy walk to shops and restaurants downtown. Just a short drive away are more restaurants, parks, breweries, ski resorts, the Ben & Jerry's factory, etc. making it easy to see and enjoy all Stowe and the surrounding area has to offer. Don't hesitate, make plans to visit the Stowe Village Inn soon. You won't be disappointed!

Magical stay. The new owners and staff are wonderful. The inn is not finished with their renovations but everything they have done so far is beautiful. A little traditional with a fab modern twist. Location is absolutely perfect. You can walk to shops and restaurants but you’re not closed in by other buildings which is the case for the hotels right in the middle of town. You can actually sit on a beautiful porch and feel like you’re taking in the beauty of Vermont. Bottom line is once they are completely renovated it will be difficult to book so do it now.

Alright folks, insider tip. Get to Stowe VT, stay at The Stowe Village Inn. New owners, Mike and Lauren have transformed the place with their style, creativity, and vision. What’s there to do? ✅ We walked 3 minutes up the road to downtown Stowe to browse the most adorable shops and crafters. Grabbed a high quality coffee and chocolate croissant at Black Cap Coffee Shop. We ate an amazing breakfast at Butlers Pantry. I ordered jalapeño cheddar pancakes with homemade hollandaise sauce. Oh yes. ✅ Activities, I am active and I need outdoorsy stuff to do. We biked 2 minutes up the road to Cady Hill Forest to trail bike some of the best MTB trails I have ever been on, for free, and then had a bomb ass beer and burrito at Ranch Camp that was conveniently located at the trail head. The Stowe Land Trust has also blanketed the surrounding area with conservation lands for hiking trails. They have a office downtown for you to get hiking maps and plan your day. ✅ I always need to get a run in, for that all I had to do was cross the street and access the trail head to a recreational/bike path that weaves thru gorgeous stream crossings, farmlands and mountain vistas. I enjoyed an awesome 5 mile run there. ✅ Other stuff to do? I could go on and on, restaurants, bars, tastings of all kinds, theater, bowling ally, and shops up and down the road accessible by walking on a nice walkway, riding my bike, or getting in the car for a 5 minute ride. ✅ Accommodations were impeccably clean, beds plush, linens crisp, and bold morning coffee in the lobby. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like spending money to gettaway only to discover a dirty place with outdated accommodations. This place is completely renovated and fresh! ✅ The experience and the stay felt like being home. This gorgeous hotel is not owned by a chain, a group of investors, etc. A young family is at the helm, bringing so much energy and enthusiasm into creating a memorable stay for their guests. And not for nothing, they are so kind and welcoming, you’ll love get to know Mike and Lauren, and if your lucky maybe you’ll get a tour like I did from Zack and his little bro Will.

I stayed at the newly renovated StoweVillage Inn a couple weeks ago. Mike and Lauren, the new owners, have done an amazing job renovating the Inn. The rooms are beautiful with tile showers and completely new bathroom fixtures. The coffee and tea were hot and delicious. The beds, sheets and towels are brand new soft and so fresh smelling. The beds are very, very comfortable. This is a completely new Inn and should not be compared to previous reviews posted for the Stowe Inn. I highly recommend a stay at this amazing Inn.
